Role: Associate Account Manager
Job Description: Our AssociateAccount Manager (AAM) is an entry-level position within the agency and plays an important role on our client-focused Account Team. The AAM will be responsible for coordinating across the team on key project milestones and client meetings, serving as an internal and external resource for timelines and project status, and providing overall campaign support. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a client-facing account management position focused on relationship building, strategic thinking, and long-term client partnership.
Hybrid schedule: In-office 3 days per week
Must Have Core Responsibilities
β’ Thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and hands-on organization.
β’ Coordinate and implement successful projects from start to finish.
β’ Work closely with Account Managers regarding client expectations, deliverables, planning, and timeline development.
β’ Manage internal and external operational steps including tracking, routing, and communicating client expectations.
β’ Maintain relevant client and internal documentation and files.
β’ Demonstrate exceptionally strong organizational skills and good judgment to effectively manage and prioritize workflow.
β’ Assist with structuring and leading project status reviews; frequently communicate progress to ensure all key stakeholders are fully informed.
β’ Interact with all team members to maintain a comprehensive understanding of tactics and deliverables.
β’ Build strong working relationships across teams and with clients.
β’ Understand client review committee and submission processes (MLR, regulatory, etc.).
β’ Demonstrate the ability to learn new concepts, anticipate needs or changes, and problem-solve proactively.
β’ Perform additional responsibilities as required in support of client and team needs.
Qualifications / Essential Skills
β’ Bachelorβs degree (B.S./B.A.) in a relevant field required.
β’ 0β2 years of advertising agency or marketing department experience, with interest in pharmaceutical marketing or medical education.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Motivated, high-energy, and proactive self-starter.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
β’ Collaborative team player who can also work independently when needed.
β’ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

You will be responsible for:
β’ Client Delivery: Develop and execute impactful omnichannel media campaigns, including channel strategy, tactical recommendations, RFP development and execution
β’ Service Development: Shaping our solutions to ensure that weβre defending and building our competitive advantage
Primary Responsibilities
Client Management: Support AHβs clients as the Media Planning SME
β’ Develop comprehensive understanding of client's business, brands, media channels, and competitive landscape and market dynamics
β’ Demonstrate the fiscal & operational acumen to manage budgets and ensure execution scope
β’ Proactively bring new ideas, opportunities, and best practices to client and agency
Service Delivery: Plan, direct and project manage omnichannel media programs for clients
β’ Ensure execution quality and adherence to strategy across all areas of client scope, in particular
o Participate in strategic planning, including establishing objectives and strategies
o Lead tactical planning activities, developing recommendations, tracking expenditures to ensure budget compliance, negotiation/buying, implementation and optimization
o Lead media RPF activity (e.g., drafting, assessment, negotiations and contracting)
o Oversee Media Operations to ensure high quality delivery and alignment to media plan
β’ Partner with internal/external teams to ensure plans are developed & deployed with excellence
β’ Fully understand KPIs for brand & campaign objectives and collaborate with analytics team on insights, analysis, and optimization recommendations
β’ Actively mitigate and manage risks and issues that may affect time, budget, and/or quality
Media Expertise: Help improve the quality of our offerings & services - shape the development of our digital media service offerings
β’ Proactively bring new ideas, opportunities, and best practices to agency and client teams to educate, foster creativity, and create new offerings
β’ Monitor trends and attend vendor meetings to stay current on offerings
β’ Evaluate and create new media opportunities from internal or external capabilities
β’ Foster senior level partnerships with prospective clients, partners, and vendors
Leadership: Act as a role model for clients, partners, and colleagues
β’ Provide leadership and serve as a role model within the client and agency
β’ Understand when itβs appropriate to make decisions independently and when to escalate
β’ Provide ongoing feedback to team members
β’ Help interview, train and orient new team members to the agency, department, and account(s)
