/n/nCVOR RN Requirements / Qualifications/n

- Minimum 2 years recent CVOR RN experience (required); perioperative / cardiac surgery nurse experience preferred/n
- Experience with open-heart surgery and complex cardiac/vascular procedures (required)/n
- Able to scrub and circulate for heart and vascular procedures (CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, IABP, thoracotomy/VATS, vascular repairs)/n
- Active Maryland RN license or compact (multi-state) RN license required at time of submission/n
- BLS certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred)/n
- Two (2) supervisor references required/n
- First-time travel nurses accepted/n
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)/n

/n/nCVOR RN Responsibilities/n

/n
- Circulate and scrub for a range of cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, including CABG, TAVR, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, MAZE, valve replacements, thoracotomy/VATS, vascular repairs, and more/n
- Provide perioperative and intraoperative care for adult patients undergoing complex cardiothoracic and structural heart procedures/n
- Participate in on-call rotation, including scheduled weekend and overnight coverage/n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, radiology, social services) to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n
- Maintain accurate perioperative documentation and uphold patient safety, sterile technique, and infection control standards/n
- Support a patient-centered environment and contribute to quality improvement and clinical best practices/n
