Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), is seeking a Senior Avionics Hardware Engineer - Fighters Mission Systems (Level 5)in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Overall subject matter expert and technical lead engineer for the Mission Computers and Stores Management hardware for requirements development, avionics subsystem and system design, integration, subsystem/system/flight test, system verification, production/fielding, and supplier oversight

• Lead the hardware supplier design team in supporting all Tactical Fighters program needs

• Develop interface control documents describing mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces

• Perform technical problem investigation and resolution at subsystem, system, and platform integration levels

  Perform weapon capability development, implementation, and integration onto a fighters platform

• Out brief status to internal Boeing stakeholders/leadership and external customers

• Support subsystem testing on the Mission Systems Hardware

• Support system testing in ESIL and during Flight Test

• Support SCFTA efforts for the Mission Systems Hardware

• Support airworthiness efforts for hardware design, development and implementation

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Data Center Site Manager to oversee the operations of our mission-critical data center infrastructure. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in facility management, electrical and mechanical systems, and operational excellence in high-availability environments.

You will be the onsite EdgeCore leader for everyone, everything and responsible for all outcomes in the data center. You are eager to be entrusted with a team as a people-first leader, and you gladly take on the charge of helping guide people in their careers.

• Lead and oversee all data center operations, ensuring 24/7 uptime and optimal performance.
• Serve as the senior authority on-site, providing leadership, escalation management, and decision-making support.
• Manage and mentor a team of technicians and engineers across multiple shifts.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data center facility management or critical infrastructure operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in a high-availability environment.

• Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), CMMS platforms, and DCIM tools.
• Certifications such as PMP, BOMA, Uptime Institute, or similar are a plus.
• Knowledge of NFPA70E, forklift, OSHA10, and/or First Aid/CPR certifications are preferred.

Position Summary

The Mission Critical Preconstruction Director is responsible for leading all preconstruction efforts for complex, high-reliability projects from concept through construction start. This role partners closely with owners, designers, and internal operations teams to develop accurate budgets, schedules, logistics plans, and risk assessments that support successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in mission-critical construction, strong technical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while driving clarity and alignment in early project phases.

Key Responsibilities

Preconstruction Leadership

• Lead preconstruction activities for mission-critical projects, including conceptual estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and feasibility analysis
• Develop and manage detailed preconstruction work plans, deliverables, and milestones
• Serve as the primary point of contact during preconstruction for owners, design teams, and internal stakeholders

Estimating & Cost Management

• Prepare and oversee accurate cost estimates at all design phases (conceptual through GMP)
• Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing validation, and scope reviews
• Identify cost drivers, value-engineering opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies
• Maintain cost histories and benchmarking data for mission-critical work

Design & Trade Partner Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure constructability, phasing, and sequencing are addressed early
• Lead trade partner selection, bid packaging, and scope alignment
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals for scope completeness, pricing accuracy, and technical compliance

Schedule & Logistics Planning

• Develop preconstruction schedules, milestone plans, and long-lead procurement strategies
• Identify site constraints, access limitations, and operational considerations specific to mission-critical environments
• Coordinate early procurement of critical equipment and systems

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify project risks related to cost, schedule, constructability, and operations
• Support development of risk registers and contingency strategies
• Ensure preconstruction plans align with mission-critical performance, redundancy, and uptime requirements

Handoff to Operations

• Lead seamless transition from preconstruction to construction teams
• Ensure scope, budget, schedule, and assumptions are clearly documented and communicated
• Support construction teams during early project execution as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of construction or preconstruction experience, with a strong focus on mission-critical facilities (data centers, healthcare, life sciences, or similar)
• Proven experience leading preconstruction efforts on large, complex projects
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and redundancy requirements
• Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and preconstruction software tools
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and on‑time B2B shipments while managing VAS workflows such as kitting, labeling, bundling, assembly, rework, and special projects. The Supervisor partners closely with internal teams to align production schedules, meet customer requirements, control costs, and maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

B2B Fulfillment Oversight

• Supervise day‑to‑day B2B order processing, shipping, and fulfillment operations
• Ensure compliance with customer routing guides, labeling requirements, pallet standards, and documentation
• Coordinate LTL and FTL freight shipments and work with carriers to meet delivery timelines
• Monitor and reduce chargebacks through proactive compliance and process improvement
• Partner with customers and internal teams on forecasts, deadlines, and shipment requirements
• Track and report KPIs including OTIF, compliance accuracy, and shipping costs

VAS / Production Management

• Oversee all value‑added services (VAS) and production workflows, including kitting, labeling, bundling, assembly, rework, and special projects
• Plan labor, timelines, and resources for production and VAS initiatives
• Ensure quality standards and client specifications are consistently met
• Coordinate production schedules with B2B and DTC teams to support shipping timelines
• Track labor costs and project profitability
• Develop and maintain SOPs for repeatable VAS services
• Train, coach, and supervise production staff and team leads

Cross‑Functional Leadership

• Serve as a key point of contact between fulfillment, production, and operations leadership
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across B2B and VAS operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B/wholesale fulfillment, VAS, production, or light assembly
• Strong knowledge of retailer routing guides, pallet standards, and compliance requirements
• Experience coordinating LTL/FTL freight
• Background in a warehouse or 3PL environment preferred
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Detail‑oriented with a quality‑first mindset
• Proven ability to lead, train, and manage teams in a fast‑paced environment
