General Position Summary
As a Pricing & Promotions Analyst, you will use data and insights to shape strategic pricing, promotional, and clearance decisions that impact sales and margin performance across the entire Lids business. You’ll build strong partnerships with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and senior leadership as you develop promotional plans, pricing strategies, and clearance plans that support key company initiatives.
You will leverage data to determine promo effectiveness and return on investment, sharing learnings with partners and leadership to drive sales and profitability. You will also play a critical role in managing clearance performance – improving capture rates, driving profitable clearance sales, optimizing clearance store performance, and coordinating transfers of aging or end-of-life product.
Your insights will influence high-visibility decisions with multi-million-dollar impact, driving consistency and clarity across categories and supporting Lids’ broader merchandising strategy. - Manage clearance strategy to improve capture rate, drive profitable clearance sales, and support overall inventory productivity.

Technical

The Pricing and Value Specialist works closely with the Director of Pricing and Value on pricing, matter management and client management initiatives in furtherance of the goals and objectives of the Firm and the Pricing & Value team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Engages in analysis and strategic planning to facilitate the pricing, client service and client retention process. Makes recommendations, develops pricing structures and communication plans, monitors active clients and budgets and reports on results.
- Supports partners, business development managers and RFP team in the US and international teams with pricing matters by providing analysis, strategy, advice, AFAs and presentations for RFP responses.

SUMMARY
As the pricing lead for Pella, this role will own the pricing strategy across an expansive product portfolio for all segments and define cross-company initiatives that align profit margins and revenue growth to the company’s strategic plan.
The ideal candidate will help establish the Pella Family of Brands’ pricing capability, including strategy, process optimization, and governance; he/she will partner closely with the brand leaders to ensure the pricing strategy is brought to life both at the enterprise level as well as at a brand specific level. THE PURPOSE: The Director of Sales, Off-Price is responsible for independently driving sales and gross margin for select Off-Price accounts. You will manage shipping forecasts, inventory levels, and all product needs in collaboration with key internal cross-functional partners. - Independently managing sales and gross margin for select off-price accounts.

- Responsible for forecasting sales and margin against LY and budget on a bi-weekly basis.
- Partner with planning on OTB and reacting to a fast-paced business model
- Negotiate and close ATS/Inventory deals daily, maximizing sales and profitability.
- Strong and constant communication line with merchants on all product needs. Constantly driving newness and elevation in all classifications
- Oversee all aspects of shipping in partnership with Customer Service. Unconfirmed orders, extensions, late WIP, oversolds, etc.

Manage all planning activities for the dedicated assigned workcell and mentor the Production Planners and Document Coordinators in the workcell.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Establish build readiness.
- Maintain efficiency of capacity and customer sizing.
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasting.
- Maintain material control and liability.
- Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into Jabil’s ERP system, including Purchase Order (PO) coverage.
- Reconcile the MPS to customer PO coverage weekly to ensure that Jabil is not exposed over and above customer PO coverage or other authorized customer demand.
- Ensure the MPS is always 100% accurate and achievable.
- Achieve and maintain 95% MPS goal.
- Own production planning, BOM and document control with or without additional support.
- Analyze material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to the Workcell and customer based on accurate customer demand.
- Maintain the workcell’s capacity planning model; drive resolution on uneven capacity utilization that keeps Jabil focused on the customer but efficiently utilizing manufacturing resources.
- Meet daily with the Workcell and manufacturing team to assess production schedules, (adjust as necessary based on production results) optimize run quantities, and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on time delivery.
- Maintain the customers’ latest contract on file at all times and be familiar with the terms and conditions of the contract regarding customer liability of material planning and production scheduling. This includes the liability window for Jabil material purchase order placement, purchase price for components, and liability for any in-house materials (purchased and manufactured).
- Be the workcell’s “expert” on all planning activities by supporting the Production Planner goal of never starting to build product without having a valid PO, adequate material quantities, and accurate BOM and an accurate routing.
- Lead the Workcell on the creation of Bills of Material (BOMs) and routings that allows accurate tracking of WIP assemblies and accurate inventory movement transactions.
- End-of Life (EOL) management should include chairing a meeting 30 days prior to the last planned build date to create tactics to support the EOL strategy. The Master Planner would own the build schedule, corrections and resolution of MPS to customer demand, planned tactics on deadlines for assemblies out of the various work areas on the floor, deadline for last shipment, and support plan for potential RMAs.
- Manage Jabil purge process for internal Workcell purges.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience, or PhD without experience.
- APICS certification and Supervisor experience also preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times for specific component types, internal run rates, test development lead times, machine programming lead times and complete understanding of the chronological sequence of events that must occur in order to build a product.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
