The Role
We are seeking a high-ownership process engineering leader with a strong chemical engineering background who thrives in fast-growing environments and enjoys building systems that support scale. This is not a procurement or vendor management role. It is a technical manufacturing role focused on process engineering, scale-up, and improving manufacturing performance.
This role exists to build Carpe’s manufacturing process engineering capability as we expand production across multiple product categories and manufacturing partners. The primary focus is on developing robust, scalable processes that consistently deliver product performance.
This is a hands-on technical role. You will work directly with manufacturing teams to define critical process parameters, troubleshoot production challenges, and improve process reliability as we scale.
You will partner closely with Product Development, Operations, and Quality to translate product innovation into well-defined, scalable manufacturing processes. Success in this role requires the ability to develop long-term process engineering frameworks while also working directly with manufacturing teams to solve technical challenges and improve production performance.
What You’ll Do
Process Engineering & Manufacturing Science
- Build and lead Carpe’s internal manufacturing process engineering capability
- Work directly with contract manufacturing teams to document and refine production processes
- Identify and define critical process parameters that drive product consistency and performance
- Lead process characterization work, including DOE design and execution
- Improve process robustness and repeatability across manufacturing partners
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges and support manufacturing teams in solving production issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
Technology Transfer & Product Scale-Up
- Lead the technical transfer of new products from development into commercial manufacturing

- Oversee pilot trials, validation runs, and commercialization readiness for new product launches

Position Summary
The ICT Support Specialist serves as the on-site IT helpdesk resource, providing frontline technical support to end users across the organization. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving basic network problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems in a manufacturing environment.
The specialist acts as the first point of contact for IT-related concerns and escalates complex infrastructure or system issues to senior IT personnel. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically skilled, and comfortable working in controlled environments such as construction and biotech manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Log, track, and document incidents, service requests, and resolutions accurately within the ticketing system.
Perform both remote and hands-on troubleshooting using structured diagnostic methods.
Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues to senior ICT team members.
Image, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Manage and maintain loaner laptop inventory.
Provide support across multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Support enterprise applications such as Microsoft Office 365, email systems, and security tools.
Assist with mobile device setup and troubleshooting (smartphones, tablets).
Maintain and update technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with senior IT staff on system administration tasks and automation initiatives (e.g., PowerShell scripting).
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, procedures, and service delivery.
Qualifications
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
5+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a helpdesk or desktop support environment.
Proven experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and supporting end users in a business environment.
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
Exposure to GMP, GDP, or biopharma/manufacturing environments is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong hardware troubleshooting and repair skills (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals).
Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, email systems, and standard enterprise software.
Knowledge of mobile device management and support.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with scripting tools such as PowerShell is a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY

Associate Relations:
- Manages all on-site employees, including giving timely, constructive feedback and positive encouragement.

- Oversee all accounting transactions. Manage cash accounts, process invoices as directed by Supervisor and owner, maintain proper bookkeeping at all times.
Property Evaluations:
- Perform and schedule all evictions and enforce adherence to all lease rules and regulations by all residents.
- Walk all vacant units as well as the property on a regular basis ensuring that it is well maintained. During these inspections all liability and/or deficiencies should be reported to to the Service Manager and Supervisor.
- Responsible for office operations, quality curb appeal, office and model cleanliness.
- Conduct market surveys as required. Create and implement marketing plans for ongoing success and high occupancy of the property.
Payroll:
- Has a working knowledge and a familiarity with Paylocity Payroll System. Seeks help and additional training if necessary.
- Seeks supervisor or ownership’s approval before approving employee overtime.
- Approval of timesheets and overtime by the 10am Monday morning deadline.
- Ensures employees have completed their time card approvals.
- Limits and monitors employee missed punches and disciplines chronic offenders.
- Does not manipulate over time records, monitors overtime proactively but does not remove legitimate employee overtime worked. Does not allow employees to work off the clock.
- Maintains accurate payroll records by promptly returning Associate Status Forms to Payroll.
Reporting:
- Must maintain all records in a complete and organized manner as described throughout the MLPG P&P Operations Manual and in full compliance with outside regulatory boards which may be applicable (EEOC, OSHA, EPA, HUD, etc.)
- Consistently review all leasing performance and paperwork.
Safety:
- Responsible for responding to all emergency situations, preparing all necessary reporting and notifying the Supervisor, Regional Director, VP and COO.
Compliance:
- Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting property tours, providing updates and information about the property performance, and responding to owner requests as needed.
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, OSHA, EPA and all other Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to Multi-Family Housing.\
- Fully implement and enforce all policies and procedures as outlined in the MLPG Policy and Procedures Manuals. Maintain and keep Policies and Procedures in up to date manner, inform and train staff on any revisions in a timely manner.
- Review and approve all leasing application files; enforce property qualifying criteria in a fair and consistent manner for all leasing applicants.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School degree required, college preferred.
Experience
One year prior experience in property management or in a related industry.
Other Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with residents, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc. and to assist in efficient operations. Basic understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws and application, familiarity with GAA Lease and Addendums, Fair Housing/ADA regulations and application, OSHA & EPA requirements for property management industry.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Computer Skills
Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite. Basic typing skills and knowledge of computers. Use of the company’s payroll system is required. Prior HRIS experience a plus.
Certificates & Licenses
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own reliable transportation. CPM®, ARM® designation preferred. Ability to earn future designations as required by Industry standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms and residences or commercial vehicles.
