Director of Engineering Operations - Data Center

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Operations to serve as the in-house technical authority on the UPS, power distribution, and emergency power systems that underpin 100% uptime. This role is purpose-built for an experienced critical power professional who has spent a career on the OEM and field service side of the business—commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining the very systems that keep mission-critical facilities running—and is ready to bring that depth of knowledge to an owner-operator environment.
You will be the go-to expert for all critical power infrastructure across our client’s Houston campus, working directly with a tenured operations team during a period of significant expansion. Your deep familiarity with UPS platforms, switchgear, transfer switches, and battery systems—combined with established OEM and vendor relationships—will be a force multiplier for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for all UPS systems, including preventive maintenance, firmware management, diagnostics, module-level repair, and full system commissioning.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical infrastructure including switchgear, automatic transfer switches (ATS), static transfer switches (STS), PDUs, RPPs, generators, and battery plants.
- Leverage deep OEM relationships and product knowledge (Schneider/APC, Eaton/MGE, Toshiba/Mitsubishi, Vertiv/Liebert, or similar) to optimize maintenance programs, warranty coverage, and parts sourcing.
- Perform root cause analysis on critical power system failures and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence and protect uptime commitments.
- Execute complex switching operations, load transfers, and system isolations following strict Method of Procedure (MOP) protocols and change management processes.
- Monitor and interpret data from Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) to identify trends, anomalies, and capacity risks.
- Support commissioning and acceptance testing of new critical power infrastructure associated with our client’s ongoing 24MW expansion, including factory witness testing and site acceptance.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for equipment servicing, warranty claims, emergency callouts, and capital improvement projects.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, as-built documentation, battery test logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all critical power systems.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and serve as a first responder for power-related facility alarms and emergency events.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, NEC, and all applicable codes and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in critical power systems, with a strong emphasis on UPS field service, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Extensive hands-on experience with UPS platforms from major OEMs such as Schneider Electric/APC, MGE, Eaton, Toshiba/Mitsubishi, Vertiv/Liebert, or equivalent manufacturers.
- Deep working knowledge of power distribution systems including switchgear, transformers, PDUs, RPPs, bus duct, and battery systems (VRLA, lithium-ion).
- Demonstrated experience with automatic transfer switches (ATS) and static transfer switches (STS), including testing, maintenance, and failure response.
- Proven ability to read, interpret, and redline single-line diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Proficiency in switching operations, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and energized work procedures in compliance with NFPA 70E.
- Strong vendor and OEM relationship management skills with established networks in the critical power ecosystem.
- Excellent documentation habits and experience working within formal change management and MOP frameworks.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
- Background spanning multiple critical power OEMs and/or manufacturer’s representative organizations, providing broad product knowledge across competing platforms.
- Prior experience in a data center, colocation, or mission-critical facility environment (owner-operator, hyperscale, or enterprise).
- Experience in field operations leadership, including scheduling, dispatching, and managing service delivery teams.
- Familiarity with generator paralleling systems, medium-voltage distribution, and utility interconnection.
- Relevant certifications such as Journeyman or Master Electrician license, NFPA 70E certification, OEM factory training certifications, or BICSI credentials.
- Electrical Engineering degree, Electrical Technology degree, or equivalent technical training (military technical training fully valued).
- Experience supporting commissioning, capacity expansion, or new-build critical infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with BMS/EPMS platforms (Schneider EcoStruxure, Vertiv Trellis, or similar).
- U.S. military service with technical MOS/rating experience is a recognized asset.

Work Environment

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting critical IT infrastructure components that enable secure, reliable, and scalable business operations. - Design, deploy and manage VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation including ESX hypervisor configuration, lifecycle management, and optimization.

Partner with Security Governance and SOC teams to remediate vulnerabilities and support enterprise application reviews.
Support Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities including:
Microsoft Purview
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
eDiscovery
Retention and sensitivity labelling
Microsoft Defender for Office 365
Ensure configurations align with regulatory, contractual, and enterprise security requirements.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and bulk administration.
Leverage Microsoft Graph and provided APIs.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase reliability, efficiency, and security.
Evaluate and communicate new Microsoft features and roadmap items for enterprise applicability.
Collaboration & Governance
Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Service Desk, Desktop Management, and Security teams to improve reliability and end-user experience.
Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Contribute to governance models for Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration services.
Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and change records.
Required Qualifications
Excellent written documentation and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in a medium-to-large enterprise environment.
Strong expertise in:
Exchange Online
Microsoft Teams
SharePoint Online
OneDrive
Microsoft Entra ID
Experience managing hybrid identity and directory synchronization (Azure AD Connect).
Strong understanding of:
Conditional Access
MFA
Identity governance
SMTP mail flow
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
Experience troubleshooting authentication, SSO, and synchronization issues.
Must be a US Citizen.

Job Title: Sr. Digital Product Manager, Search & Discovery
General Summary
Responsible for driving the vision and execution of digital products (i.e., software applications), with a specific focus on enhancing search and discovery experiences, ensuring customers can easily find and engage with products across . Generally, works under minimal supervision on 1-3 features of medium complexity and/or an entire application. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize solutions that drive innovation, improve customer satisfaction, and align with business goals.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: (approximate percentage of time spent)
- Studies end-user needs, defines product features and coordinates activities across teams to meet quality standards, project deadlines and business objectives. Activities include: gathering and writing requirements for medium and large application features; conducting competitive analyses; and using product discovery techniques to aid in prioritization of features (e.g., A/B, surveys, interviews, etc.). (60%)
- Develops long-term product plans (i.e., roadmaps), and leads stakeholders through the roadmap process for assigned product(s). Activities include: conferring with engineering, marketing, clients, prospects, operations, legal and others, and developing financial models to aid in prioritization. (20%)
- Monitors and reports on product utilization and identifies trends. (10%)
- Provides guidance to less-experienced staff. (10%)
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, marketing, business administration or related field, 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in e-commerce, search, or related digital products, or a similar role in an Agile, Scrum, Kanban or similar software application development and/or project management team environment, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
- Strong customer facing digital subject matter expertise with experience working on medium complexity features and/or an entire software application.
- Experience with search technologies and platforms (e.g., , Solr, Algolia, or similar) is required.
- Experience reviewing vendors and RFP processes for enterprise search platforms is preferred.
- Proven track record of launching a search platform, from initial discovery through execution and successful launch.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and experimentation platforms.
- Familiarity with taxonomy design, product categorization, and search filtering.

Junior Designer – Full-time
Location: Vista, CA
PRG Golf is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Designer to support the creative team in developing high-quality product designs, brand assets, and marketing materials. This role is ideal for a designer early in their career who is passionate about design, eager to grow within a collaborative creative environment, and excited to work with a premium global brand in the golf industry.
The Junior Designer will work closely with the Creative Director and broader creative team to help execute product concepts, marketing visuals, and custom client designs. This role will contribute to maintaining PRG Golf’s strong visual identity while assisting in the creation of innovative products and brand experiences for golf clubs, resorts, tournaments, and retail partners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Design Support
• Assist in the design and development of PRG Golf’s product lines, including custom golf accessories and new product categories.
• Support the creative team in preparing production-ready artwork and design files.
• Execute design concepts across multiple mediums including product graphics, packaging, and digital assets.
Product Development Collaboration
• Work alongside the Creative Director and product development team to translate design concepts into manufacturable products.
• Prepare mockups, tech packs, and design specifications for production.
• Assist with revisions and updates during product development cycles.
Brand & Marketing Design
• Support the creation of marketing materials including catalogs, digital graphics, presentations, and promotional assets.
• Ensure all creative work aligns with PRG Golf’s visual identity and brand standards.
• Help maintain and organize brand assets, templates, and design files.
Client & Sales Support
• Assist the sales team with custom design concepts for golf clubs, tournaments, and corporate partners.
• Create visual mockups and presentations that showcase custom merchandise programs.
• Support the preparation of creative materials for client proposals and presentations.
Creative Operations
• Maintain organized design files and assist in managing creative project workflows.
• Help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Support the creative team with day-to-day design tasks and production needs.
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, product design, or a related creative field (internships included).
• Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong design fundamentals including typography, layout, color, and composition.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• A portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and strong design execution.
Preferred Experience
• Interest in sports, ideally golf, lifestyle brands, or consumer products.
• Experience preparing artwork for production or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with product mockups, packaging design, or merchandise design.
