- $125,000 Hybrid schedule Job Description: The Medical Informatics Clinical Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between clinical practice and the applications that support the clinical teams.
This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting clinical information systems to enhance patient care, improve efficiency and optimize workflow.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical System Optimization: Collaborate with clinicians and IT teams to optimize the use of electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical systems.

Project Management: Lead and participate in HIT implementation projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful outcomes.
Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to minimize disruptions during system implementations and upgrades.
Provide effective communication and training to ensure a smooth transition.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with healthcare regulations and ensure that HIT systems and practices comply with relevant standards, such as HIPAA and Meaningful Use.
Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends in clinical informatics and explore opportunities for innovation.
Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new HIT solutions.
Qualifications: Advanced degree in nursing, medicine, or a related field.
Masters Degree in Health Informatics or related field preferred Certification in clinical informatics (e.g., CPHIMS) preferred.
Proven experience in clinical informatics, with a strong understanding of EHRs (Meditech, Athena) and other clinical systems.
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations (eg: HIPAA) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Solution based approach when engaging with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to facilitate organ/tissue donation and foster process improvement initiatives.
- Provides timely onsite responses to organ referrals in assigned hospital.
- Collaborates with LifeGift’s Administrator-on-Call (AOC) to determine suitability of organ referrals and determine next steps following initial evaluation of potential organ donors.
- Plan, implement and administer training and education on all aspects of the donation program for all applicable hospital staff including medical staff with the intent to improve metrics.
- Determines the appropriate approach strategy for the potential donor’s next-of-kin to ensure a compassionate, sensitive, and effective approach when offering the option of organ and tissue donation.
- This role may require travel frequently between hospitals within a designated region; flexibility for non-traditional hours is required. Reliable transportation required.
Do you have the education and experience to be an In-House Donation System Specialist?
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or a combined total of 5 years education and experience in healthcare, marketing, or related field.
- Nurse (LPN, LVN, RN), Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist (RT), International Medical Graduate (IMG), or clinically equivalent experience in an OPO.
- Either of the following preferred: ADN and/or BSN
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a critical care setting preferred.
- A minimum of two years of OPO or healthcare experience preferred. Must be able to interpret and synthesize clinical information from medical charts.
- Experience in public speaking, sales/marketing, data analysis, and/or strategic planning preferred.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.

What You Will Do
SE verification lead, working closely with the program IPTLs, Chief Engineer and external customer, to ensure successful system Functional Configuration Audit

SE technical lead overseeing verification and validation efforts, ensuring all requirements are being assessed during testing
Become the knowledgeable and ‘go-to’ Systems Engineer for the program Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) effort.
Help to onboard new team members, mentor, and guide them using core Systems Engineering skills.
Assist the systems lead with cost account management, schedule and cost earned value analysis, program management reviews, and Estimate at Complete (EAC) reporting
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience
Experience with at least one of the following: systems software, systems firmware, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
Experience in test planning or verification of system requirements or system qualification
