This position is located at our SOUTHBRIDGE, MA. facility and may be filled on the first, second or third shift, depending upon the ideal candidate. An integral member of the production team, the Assembler will use technical directives, work instructions, blueprints & schematics to build to specification, critical components for batteries used for aerospace, defense and commercial aviation applications. This position will also liaise with engineers on troubleshooting and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety or tools and equipment
- Collect materials and equipment needed to begin assembly process
- Perform inspections and measure parts using basic measuring tools
- Achieve applied and earned production rates to standard and communicate issues that could cause unfavorable rates
- Perform basic preventative maintenance, as trained, for required tools and equipment
- Document actions by completing required production documentation, both written and electronic
- Working as part of team, accomplish department goals
- Adhere to company safety requirements and wear PPE as directed / required
- Read, interpret and follow detailed instruction to complete the highest quality product
- Other duties may be assigned as business needs dictate
Qualifications
Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience is preferred
- Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100 standards for quality control preferred
- Strong technical, mechanical, and or electrical aptitude
- Fine motor skills, and the ability to work with small parts and components

The salary range for this position is $18.50-$20.50 an hour and represents the minimum and maximum for the position. DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
- Food Safety and Operational Planning
- Enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for delivery and pickup of containers to and/or from customer locations; provide an effective and incident free delivery or pickup of a container while maintaining excellent rapport with the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites in a safe manner by following all safety rules
Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections of commercial vehicle and lift
Accept add-on deliveries as required to meet business needs
Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation
Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane
Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery to customer
Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with the customer
Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager on customer questions and/or issues; Prepare driver notes as needed
Perform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center
Provide backup for storage center functions when needed
Maintain cleanliness of truck cab (keep free from debris inside and outside)

Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR)The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a critical role for the successful operation of the Alterations department and completing tasks that contribute to providing superior customer service. Minimum Required QualificationsThe minimum required qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
- Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties.
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
Performance of the essential functions of this position require the associate to possess the minimum qualifications listed above. These functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Empty all trash and recycling containers as prescribed by Store Management.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms including all plumbing fixtures in the manner prescribed by Store Management.
- Replenish paper and soap supplies in all restrooms as required.
- Clean, mop, sweep, scrub, strip, wax, buff or vacuum floor areas as designated by Store Management or as prescribed in established store procedures, schedules or guidelines.
- Clean associate break and lunch areas.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit purchase orders or requests to Store Management or as prescribed in established store procedures, schedules or guidelines.
- Operate equipment with all safeguards in place and in good operating condition; observe the safe method of performing all duties.
- Control excessive use of utilities, supplies and water and observe sound conservation practices.
- Coordinate own activities and functions with those of associates to obtain maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Observe security standards by staying alert and being aware of customer actions and behavior; report to Store Management or Security any abnormal behavior.
- Check prices and be knowledgeable about location of items in the store.
- Regularly lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise that weights 25 lbs., and that occasionally weights 50 lbs.
- Maintain the security of auxiliary doors and entrances when using them to take out trash containers to empty into outside refuse bins or when using exterior sites to prepare or clean equipment (i.e. floor scrubbers).
- Maintain good communications with associates and Store Management throughout the organization.
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work/shopping environment.
- Greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance.
- Collect empty shopping carts from assigned areas and return them to their proper place.
- Utilize and maintain equipment as required by department; report any equipment problems immediately.
- Observe store rules and company policies.
- Dress and groom according to company policy including uniform, name badge, and hat or hair restraint requirements.
- Observe shift operating hours at all times as scheduled or assigned by the Store Management.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company rules, policies, safety requirements, and security standards and with all local, state and federal health and civil code regulations.
- Perform duties in accordance with the company's HAZCOM program and adhere to manufacturer's label instructions for the safe and proper use of all chemical products.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in training personnel when required.
- Complete all applicable department training programs.
- Stand for duration of scheduled shift, which may exceed 8 hours per day.
- Perform all duties in accordance with all ShopRite Service Priorities (Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency).
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance.

The Full-Time Associate is responsible for assisting the store management team with daily store operational functions which include providing excellent customer service, driving sales, merchandising, and handling other responsibilities as assigned by management. The Regional Manager-Construction Operations manages OSP Construction Managers responsible for all day-to-day productivity and readiness of construction teams in their region. This position has ultimate responsibility for all Service Address and Production Footage delivery for each of the construction teams. This includes team readiness, equipment readiness, and project workload and completion. Provides leadership and drives safety, consistency, productivity, and quality necessary to meet or exceed all construction targets in their region.
The Regional Manager-Construction Operations refines processes and procedures and communicates these operational measures and other information to Managers. Handles all escalations from local municipalities or adjacent TDS teams and communicates directly with business partners as appropriate. Assists the business unit Director with budget development and adherence and is responsible for an annual budget that includes headcount, equipment, vehicles, and project materials.
Responsibilities:- Resource Management & Development: Hires, motivates, and provides leadership and guidance to a team of OSP Construction Managers. Responsible for overall team performance in meeting or exceeding production targets and quality control for service address delivery and footage production (varies by production type). Ensures that appropriate developmental and technical training programs are implemented and attended by all team members in respective region. Recognizes associates for achievements. Handles escalated associate issues in conjunction with Human Resources policies. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels to meet on time completion of all construction projects.
- Technical Support: Provides technical direction and leadership for assigned markets and assists peers within adjacent teams as required. Monitors team and regional level production, safety, training, purchasing for assigned markets. Provides input into development of construction and safety processes and ensures compliance with overall policies and procedures. Assists in development of short- and long-range planning.
- Cost Assurance: Monitors all capital labor, material, and expense charges within respective region. Assists in the development of financial and budgetary objectives. Reviews and provides the assurance of results.
- Check in and visits: Expected to routinely check in and visit with all leaders and teams within identified region.
Required Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
- 5+ years in the telecom industry.
- 5+ years in a supervisory role or equivalent leadership experience.
Other Qualifications
- Strong technical background a plus. Should include an understanding of all aspects of OSP Construction: Fiber optic outside plant construction methods and best practices, trouble shooting, and common equipment installation and maintenance practices.
- Lightwave transmission system experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of all types of OSP Fiber Optic network builds designs, such as centralized split and distributed split (including optical tap).
- Solid understanding of OSHA safety requirements and guidelines as it relates to OSP Construction projects.
- Excellent problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interest in fostering relationships and team building (i.e. teaching, coaching).
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a sense of urgency related to each separate issue.
- Ability to handle stressful network outages, and/or customer impacting situations in a calm manner.
