The firm handles complex, high-exposure cases, including products liability, medical malpractice, auto accidents, and premises liability, often involving catastrophic injuries.

This role is ideal for an attorney who can manage cases from inception through resolution and who brings exceptional legal writing and research skills - essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation from case intake through resolution

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Personal Injury - Trial Attorney at Payne Law Firm, P.C., located in Houston, TX. The Trial Attorney will be responsible for managing personal injury cases from inception through trial. Day-to-day tasks include conducting legal research, preparing and filing motions, appearing in court, taking depositions, and representing clients during trials. What You’ll Be Handling 

As a key member of our litigation team, you will: 

• Lead initial client consultations and evaluate case viability 

• Handle your own docket of pre-litigation personal injury matters to resolve 

• Help manage a caseload of complex, high-value personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including in litigation

• Manage discovery in litigation cases including drafting interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions to the opposing parties, tracking and following up on responses received, and responding to discovery propounded to firm clients.

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on questions of law and incorporate findings into cogent persuasive legal writing for the court.  

• Develop and execute strategic case plans, both pre-litigation and through trial, and demonstrate advanced case conceptualization and planning 

• Negotiate top-dollar settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel 

• Take and defend depositions, and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings 

• Supervise and mentor support staff, including paralegals 

• Maintain proactive, clear, and compassionate communication with clients 

• Play an active role in shaping firm strategy and supporting growth through collaboration and leadership

• Base Salary: Starting at $85,000 to $125,000 (commensurate with experience) with a bonus structure - if you are able to generate business or can get exceptional results, you will be paid as such.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Case Manager with personal injury experience to join our team in Miami, FL. About the Role:

As a Case Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) and Independent Medical Exams (IMEs) while managing ongoing communication and documentation for personal injury cases. Your ability to handle sensitive information, communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, and manage detailed casework will directly impact the success of our clients’ outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
