Get to Know Your Team:Β
- Lovelace Womenβs Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
- Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider.
- Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
- May provide clerical support for the assigned department to include, but not limited to, filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into computer
Job Requirements
- Associateβs Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
- *Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements*
- Candidates with a temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree.
- One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting.

- Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
- Performs occupational therapy assessment procedures utilizing techniques consistent with the patientβs diagnosis. Develops individualized treatment plan based on evaluation findings.
Provides detailed and concise documentation of evaluation, treatment, interim reports, and discharge evaluations within departmental timelines. Provides all necessary documentation required for on-going patient care.
Participates in mentoring and training of clinical support staff, new professional staff, and students/volunteers in the aspects of patient care.
Participates in the development and implementation of departmental performance improvement.
Participates in the development and implementation of clinical program development.
Responsible for completing basic occupational therapy competencies in addition to departmental specific competencies.
- Meets productivity expectations for level of care and FTE status.
Utilizes support staff and resources as per general guidance of departmental guidelines.
- Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to βserviceβ.
Job Requirements
- Bachelorβs of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current Licensure or licensure eligible in Occupational Therapy in State of NM
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Ability to communicate effectively and finish tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to follow oral and written instruction and established procedures
Preferred Job Requirements
- Masterβs Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- One (1) year experience in job-related environment

Qualifications:Job Requirements:
- Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and ARDMS Eligible.
- ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
- Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire.
- Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
