Operations Supervisor General Function
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for learning all aspects of Loomis operations, including but not limited to: Vault Operations, Coin Operations, attending Armored Service and ATM Technician Training, assist in training and retention of ASTs. Responsibilities will also include implementing and administering Loomis policies and procedures as well as monitoring and controlling daily operations and assisting with long-term operation of armored car routes and the cash vault. The Operations Supervisor will work alongside management to develop, maintain, and supervise a professional employee-centered culture, a safe and secure operation, a high level of service of delivery, and cost effective, productive operation as directed by Operations Manager.
Typical Duties/Responsibilities
Complete and maintain scheduling/routing on a daily basis.
Oversight and coordination of armored and ATM routes and dispatch. This may require going on route from time to time.
Controlling costs of the operation
Maintaining effectiveness and efficiency of route, terminal, and vault operations.
Safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities through training, monitoring and enforcement of policies and procedures.

Security of cargo and terminal through training, monitoring, and enforcement of policiesand procedures including terminal opening and closing.
Investigating accidents and processing required paperwork.
Developing and maintaining customer service capabilities among all operations staff.
Responding to customer inquiries and or complaints and solving logistical issues.
Coordinating with sales, other branches and departments within the company, other carriers, vendors in creating and implementing viable operational solutions to new customers.
Controlling overtime hours. Monitoring employee vacation schedules.
Maintaining effectiveness and efficiency of operational functions.
Communication with all employees to Immediately resolve any outstanding issues and/orcomplaints.
Provide leadership that is dedicated to professionalism, continuous improvement, andexceeding challenging goals and objectives.
Recruiting, interviewing, testing, selecting, training, and supervising of operations personnel.
Emergency response to include response to employee injuries, facility security incidents,vehicle incidents and security investigations.
Manipulation and maintenance of route and vault data to include manual paperwork andelectronic data.
Rotating Saturday coverage with 2 other supervisors.
Assists with training of new operations employees, both classroom and on route.
Assists with completion of monthly commitments, and upkeep of the audit binders.
Completion of any and all additional responsibilities that are assigned by the operationsManager and/or other Management Team Members on an \"as needed\" basis.

Operations Manager: Consult with and accept advice/direction from the Ops Manager on a daily basis.
Supervisors: Works closely with all other supervisors to achieve goals and growth of the branch/company
Subordinates: Responsible for training, counseling, disciplining, conduct and evaluation of ASTs
Customers: Communicate with customers on a regular basis
Sales/Administration: Communication with sales and administration on an \"as needed\" basis regarding updates of service, customers, and payroll issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive approach to preventing losses/injuries, whether they are to our employees, third parties, or customers' valuables. They include cash-in-transit, auto losses, and injuries.
- Report all incidents, claims, and losses that may expose the company to financial losses, whether they are covered by insurance or not.
- Ensures the execution of established risk and operational policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
- Supports field operations through risk training and leadership team development.
- Demonstrate management leadership charged with achieving the goals of the Company, both in safety and cargo losses.
- Establishes and communicates a risk business plan consistent with the objectives of the Company that equally combines the tenets of workplace safety, addressing Workers Compensation, injury prevention, vehicle crash avoidance through improved driver performance, and proactive surveillance programs that identify and correct behavioral problems.
- Equally ensures the execution of risk tools at the branch level, including robbery prevention and other processes that reduce customer asset losses.
- Effectively utilizes and ensures the branch's application of established loss-prevention tools.
- Continuously evaluates loss trends to ensure new emerging risks are readily identified and appropriate plans are implemented.
- Assures that an effective claims management program is in place. The program reflects timely reporting of losses and verifies that prompt, accurate investigations occur.
- Provides management guidance on physical security requirements for new or upgraded facilities.
- Periodically conducts branch audits of policies and procedures to verify compliance.
- Required to personally investigate complex losses of significant value in both the casualty and cargo areas.
- Manage claim and loss reporting.
- Monitor and follow up on all audit findings and corrective actions to ensure timely solutions.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in management, business, safety, security, criminal justice, or a related field, preferred.
- Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience that reflects continuous management and leadership growth.
- Ability to travel up to 60% as needed to meet with team members and business partners.
Individual Skills & Competencies:
- Demonstrating knowledge or proficiency in cash management/handling, employee training, interview techniques, transportation, and loss investigation is desirable.

Job Summary
• Provides independent oversight, investigation, and assurance to protect the company's two most vulnerable assets: inventory and cash. Serves as the control, audit, and investigative arm of the Inventory Integrity & Stock Protection model. Identifies, investigates, and resolves inventory and cash losses, validates control execution, manages armored carrier services and ensures corrective actions are implemented and sustained. Partners closely with Finance, Field Operations, and Sales Audit, while maintaining objectivity and independence in risk assessment, investigation, and escalation.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Asset Protection, Internal Audit, Investigations, Inventory Control, or related field.
• Experience in multi-unit retail, distribution, or corporate operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrated investigative skills and experience conducting interviews and evidence reviews.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead investigations into inventory shrink, internal theft, fraud, cash discrepancies, and policy violations.
• Conduct interviews, analyze transaction data, review CCTV footage, and compile investigative findings.
• Plan, execute, and manage audits focused on inventory integrity and cash controls across retail locations,
including Risk Assessments.
• Evaluate compliance with company SOPs, cash handling procedures, and inventory processes.
• Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk and financial exposure.
• Monitor remediation efforts and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Analyze inventory variance reports, cycle count results, and shrink trends to determine root causes.
• Manage Armored Carrier Services (Smartsafe, Brinks, Loomis) at the Field and Central Operations level.
• Assess receiving, transfer, returns, and adjustment processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Review cash handling procedures, deposits, refunds, and POS transactions for irregularities.
• Investigate suspicious transactions, refund abuse, and potential fraud indicators.
• Develop and deliver training to store leadership on inventory and cash control best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve processes and strengthen controls.
• Support enterprise risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure investigations comply with legal and HR guidelines.
