About this Position:

- Manage associate performance and career development through annual review process with input from Department Lead. Utilize hiring processes to identify & select candidates for sustaining target headcount level. Manage onboarding and training needs of associates.
- Contribute to quarterly budget reports for piece costs, investments, raw material adjustments, supplier pricing requests, and any other appreciable cost factors. Support AHM monthly CPU cost roll-up accuracy by verifying validity of cost variances.
- Assist Department Lead in discussions related to resource planning, equipment needs, associate matters, and project responsibilities.
- Substitute for the Department Lead occasionally with management responsibilities related to procurement, travel approvals, timekeeping, and/or facility access to prevent disruptions of business operations.

Required Work Experience:
- 15+ years relevant experience is necessary, preferably in Powersports or Automotive field.

- Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework (3-6 year planning horizon).

- BS Industrial, mechanical, process engineering or equivalent job experience

Position Summary:
Applied Digital is seeking a Controls Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our growing organization. This role will play a key part in supporting initiatives such as supporting commissioning of new buildings, team training, and operations team support. The Controls Subject Matter Expert (SME) will need to have technical expertise in controls systems, hardware diagnostics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational excellence and system integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in electronic and digital controls systems.
- Maintain and repair control system hardware, including controllers, sensors, relays, actuators, and integrated mechanical/electrical components.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify efficiency opportunities and implement system optimization strategies.
- Review operating equipment data for efficiency improvements while making adjustments accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage controls vendors to support site operations, component upgrades, and configurations.
- Communicate any controls issues or process improvements with site management.
Basic Qualifications

By maintaining authoritative data inventories and traceability artifacts, the analyst helps ensure flawless and compliant transaction processing post‑migration.

- Execute detailed field-level mapping from source systems.
- Maintain the Traceability Matrix connecting source fields, transforms, and destinations.

Requirements:

Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equipment installation and debugging experience
Experience with Electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment
Technical experience with PLCs in programming, including read, write and modify logic
Technical experience with Servo Motion Controllers
Technical experience with relay logic including wiring and troubleshooting
Technical experience with Robotics including programming and troubleshooting.
Experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic troubleshooting and schematic reading
Availability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
Ability for business travel, both domestic and international - up to 30%.
