Join our team in a dynamic 17-bed Emergency Department (ED) with a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio. Our diverse staff includes RNs, CNAs, Paramedics, Secretaries, and Providers, creating a collaborative environment to deliver exceptional care. Known for our wide variety of patient experiences, including Abdominal pain, and shortness of breath, we also take pride in our chest pain accreditation. With an average daily volume of approximately 74 patients, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality emergency medical care while working alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced setting.


How you'll contribute 
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

-    Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
-    Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
-    Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
-    Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
-    Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
-    Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

Job Summary: Registered Nurse (RN) - Level 3 Trauma Emergency Room

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to join our dynamic team in our 24 bed, Level 3 Trauma Emergency Room, ranked #2 in Lifepoint Health. As an RN in our ER, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of traumatic injuries and medical emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides after-hours leadership, functions as a resource person for staff, assists in patient care, and is responsible for overall quality of patient care in the facility. Reports to the Senior or Chief Nursing Officer or Administrator on Call.

  • Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
  • Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
  • Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present; involves contact with patients or specimens, including blood, body fluids, and non-intact skin.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent computer use and repetitive hand/arm movements; occasional standing, walking, sitting, and light patient handling. Exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, and latex.

Position Summary:
The Program Director of Behavioral Health oversees strategic planning, operations, and policy enforcement to ensure high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health services. They manage budgeting, supervise staff, and guide both short- and long-term program development to maintain financial and clinical excellence.

  • Manages all aspects of behavioral health unit operations, including staffing, care delivery, and facility maintenance.

How you'll contribute

Therapist counsels patients individually or through group education regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems using evaluative techniques and develops and implements therapeutic treatment. Therapist provides education, social work services, basic consultation, and crisis intervention. Therapist provides referrals to patients for aftercare. Lead Therapist supervises individual and group counseling and oversees responsibility for training new staff to ensure clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory and other standards.
