- 3:30 PM Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical components, frames, fixtures, subassemblies, and robotic systems according to engineering drawings and build documentation.
Perform precision alignment of mechanical parts such as actuators, slides, sensors, and tooling.
Install pneumatic systems, tubing, valves, and fittings.

GENERAL PURPOSE:This position provides a visible presence at the Store entrances/exits, mitigating theft and fraud and maintaining a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers. The Specialist makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a prominent, courteous and friendly manner deterring opportunity for theft by demonstrating command presence in a Company issued vest/required black attire, and monitoring the Code 50 package inspection policy. Walks sales floor to identify and address potential theft indicators, as directed by Store Leadership. Partners with Store Leadership to ensure compliance with Loss Prevention directives and minimization of operational shortage. Must embrace Company values and have a mentality to protect the Ross treasure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintaining Safe & Secure Environment:
- Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do and assists Store Leadership in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both Associates and Customers.
- Provides visible command presence, including prominent greetings with eye contact, at Store entrances/exits and on sales floor in a Company issued vest/required black attire, monitoring for potential safety issues.
- Removes clutter and ensures safe, clear egress to emergency exits.

- Provides great Customer service by prominently greeting Customers, making eye contact, smiling and answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
- One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
- One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
- Active Security Guard License preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Manage and coordinate all activities related to Facilities Environmental, Health, Safety and Training programs to ensure the facilities and company's objectives are met or exceeded.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Identify and interpret regulatory standards that impact operational exposures and business activities and guide needed plans to ensure compliance.
- Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive safety processes, training programs and management practices to eliminate all accidents in the workplace and meet all applicable safety rules and company policy. Responsibilities to include: OSHA, ergonomics, machine guarding, hazard communication, powered industrial vehicles, electrical safety, fire protection & emergency preparedness
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive environmental processes and management practices to meet all applicable environmental rules and company policy requirements. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: waste water discharge, solid waste disposal, hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal, air emissions, spill prevention control and countermeasures, storm water national pollutant discharge elimination system, and ozone depleting substances.
- Identifies and evaluates hazardous conditions and practices, developing practices and programs to correct or reduce their occurrence.
- Provides assistance to plant personnel to improve safety and health of all employees.
- Plans, implements and monitors the day-to-day operations for the Facility’s training schedule, including analyzing operating data and reports, monitoring adherence to standards to ensure business plan objectives are met or exceeded.
- Communicates with Division management and employees and provides relevant reports and analyses to ensure appropriate decision-making as it applies to safety and training. Completes special project assignments as needed.
- Ensures preparation and delivery of all relevant training and materials are compliant with all customer, governmental and Company directives and policies.
- Creates Job Specific Training Modules
- Investigates and reports on serious injuries to line or staff employees.
- Reviews and analyzes company accidents and historical claim experience to identify frequency or severity problems and loss trends. Conduct improvement projects based on findings to improve overall employee health and safety.
- Investigates and responds to employee safety concerns, unemployment claims, and workers compensation claims to provide high quality internal customer service.
- Periodically audits operational procedures and programs related to all aspects of the facility as training is developed and updated.
- Train and coach managers and supervisors on behavior based strategies, accident investigation, hazard identification, self-inspection and employee training.
- Manages assigned trainees, including training, development and validation of performance.
- Attends and coordinates department safety meetings.
- Establish a measuring device for safety performance throughout the facility by motivating individual accountability and reinforcing safety as a critical part of the corporate culture.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Education & Experience
BS degree in Engineering, Life Science, Safety, or Risk Management from an accredited college or University.
Certification as a Certified Safety Professional and OSHA 30 Hour is a plus.
5 or more years of relevant work experience in manufacturing safety and human resources.

Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises plan of care based upon patient response to interventions.

Participates in unit-based decision-making regarding the utilization of evidence- based practice.

This position is responsible for the planning, implementation, and day-to-day operations of Security/Risk Management for Monarch Casino Resort Spa. The Director’s primary goals are to ensure gaming integrity, protect company assets, and ensure employee and guest safety.
The Director of Security develops and implements departmental policies and procedures in compliance with Colorado Division of Gaming regulations, initiates and follows up on a wide variety of training programs, and establishes operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention and traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, monitoring of staff involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
Responsibilities
- Designs and implements workflows and procedures that support the overall goals of asset, guest, and Team Member protection.
- Confers with property General Manager and departmental leaders to formulate policies, identify gaps and determine need for programs, and develop/implement training to address such needs.
- Works with representatives of local government to ensure cooperation and coordination of property activities with gaming regulators, law enforcement, and firefighting agencies.
- Maintains accurate and thorough departmental and incident records and reports. Disseminates reports to department leaders as needed and follows up accordingly.
- Conducts workplace investigations and/or collaborates with other members of the Investigation Committee to conduct investigations.
- Prepares the annual security budget and monitors and reports on the budget monthly.
- Ensures that all security equipment is accounted for, maintained, and working properly. Responsible for the property radio system and the controlled key management system.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and prevents future issues; develops innovative and effective solutions.
- Responsible for effectively managing, delegating duties, and the performance and development of department staff; inclusive of interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and termination of staff as required.
- Manages difficult situations or guests for positive resolutions.
- Makes recommendations to executive management for improvements to Security and Safety programs.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 5+ years casino security management experience, with 10+ years in security-related field.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and in volatile situations.
- Basic knowledge of computer programs such as the MS Office suite.
