Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Willing to work a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation.
- Perform and follow all OSHA guidelines regarding work and safety manuals
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled.
- Daily oiling, greasing & inspection of production and production support equipment
- Service and rebuild pumps and valves
- Diagnose and repair electrical, panel controls, and mechanical problems in manufacturing equipment.
- Perform routine inspections of operating equipment and initiate preventative maintenance programs to ensure the reliable and safe operator of equipment is sustained.
- Troubleshoot control circuitry including PLC hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to work with high voltage equipment, including troubleshooting and understanding electrical prints.

- Complete routine paperwork such as PM work orders, recording inspection results, logging emergency work orders, recording parts used from inventory, and recording necessary readings on log sheets in an accurate and timely manner.

Data Analysis:

About the Role Supply Chain Manager:
Reporting to the CEO, the is responsible to Manage, coordinate, plan, and organize strategic sourcing, purchasing, production and inventory planning, receiving, warehousing, control, and distribution of materials to satisfy distribution needs/service relations as required to accomplish these goals.
The Manager of Supply Chain will be tasked with the identification, development, and completion of significant efficiency/optimization projects. This person will be responsible to work cross functionally within SC as well as WH, and cross functional departments and divisions across the entire business using lean principles, total cost analysis, strong project management skills, and a highly developed to identify major cost saving initiatives, ensure cross functional collaboration, timely project completion and the realization of identified savings. Will be responsible to develop the targets / budget related to Supply Chain, working with others to develop baseline data, savings calculations, monthly tracking and reporting tools as well as the upkeep of all project charters to ensure accurate and timely reporting to CEO and management.

This position will report to the site Health, Safety and Environment Manager. This position will support HSE management and transformation at the Yoplait plant in Murfreesboro, Tennessee ensuring integration of Safety 2.0 principles, processes, and metrics, and enabling operational learning within the manufacturing function.
As a part of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing critical Health and Safety risks and ensuring effective controls for conditions with Serious Injury/Fatality potential.
Act as a coach and advisor to the site, providing exceptional leadership and technical assistance in managing safety and health critical risks. Enables operational learning through application of human performance principles, while assisting the site in maintaining compliance with local regulatory and Company Safety and Health & Safety requirements.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Co-lead the site Emergency Response Program and coordinates with site teams and local emergency agencies.
- Provides support with Worker's Compensation case management at the local level and coordinates closely with corporate resources and insurance company representatives.

- Provides support to front line leadership in risk identification and mitigation.

Midwest Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Manufacturing Team Leader based in Reed City, MI.
The Manufacturing Team Leader will provide manufacturing leadership to deliver a world-class operation at the Reed City, MI, Yoplait facility. The Manufacturing Team Leader will lead, mentor, and develop employees to achieve outstanding manufacturing results while leveraging continuous improvement tools and working cross-departmentally to troubleshoot and mitigate production inefficiencies.
The Manufacturing Team Leader must have flexibility with their working hours and will be primarily working 8-hour shifts on 2nd shift. Weekends are worked on a rotational schedule with the other Manufacturing Team Leaders and are typically 12-hour shifts (5:00 PM โ 5:00 AM Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday). The Manufacturing Team Leader must be able to flex their hours to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift to support plant scheduling needs, complete project work. Proper notice will be given before moving shifts
From your EXPERTISE to our
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Educate, develop, and motivate a manufacturing work group to achieve required production results, improving individual technical skills, and enabling collaboration across boundaries
- Facilitate, coach, counsel, and guide the manufacturing work group to ensure that they are able to deliver results year-over-year through the use of continuous improvement tools and strategies
- Flex hours across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (if required) to support plant scheduling needs, to complete project work
- Develop and lead projects that will save on costs, reduce waste, improve safety, or improve production/sanitation key performance metrics throughout the plant
- Schedule operators and maintenance resources according to plant production needs
- Ensure that production facilities and finished products meet the company and government standards for quality, sanitation, and safety
- Be an incident commander in the event a pressing safety, maintenance, quality, or production incident occurs. Contact the necessary resources to help manage the incident
- Working closely with line teams and supporting department personnel to drive production results, drive out losses, and support R&D or improvement initiatives happening on the off-shifts across all platforms

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
- 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Ability to adjust schedule across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts (if required) to support plant scheduling needs or to complete project work
- Experience in troubleshooting technical problems and responding to technical challenges
- Demonstratable interpersonal communication and listening skills
- Demonstratable analytical and business judgment skills
- Must possess basic computer skills or the ability to learn a variety of computer programs
- Associate or bachelorโs degree in business, finance, or of another technical/scientific discipline
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, SAP, Blue Yonder, Maximo, or other programs/applications typical of a manufacturing environment
- Previous food manufacturing leadership experience
