As a Central Planner, you will be responsible for the short & mid-term capacity, inventory levels and transportation requirements of assigned product line(s) or replenishment management with the objective of maintaining established finished goods level, meeting customer service goals and efficiently utilizing manufacturing resources.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Analyze and prepare reports on plant capacity utilization by product lines.
• Understand KPI (Key Performance Indicators) related to the position, the planning department, and cross functional impacts for best decision for the company.
• Conduct inventory simulations to determine optimal safety stock and inventory levels based on demand and shelf-life constraints.
• Analyze risks of dumps and downgrades and act with CS to minimize or mitigate negative impact.
• Identify problematic SKUs (efficiency, waste risk, volume, labor, etc.) for discontinuation/rationalization.
• Provide finished goods requirements to plant schedulers, monitor production schedules and initiate corrective actions.
• Plan and enter interplant shipment orders for assigned products and/or DCs within inventory standards and lead times.
• Communicate logistics requirements for interplant movement to ensure equipment availability.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Transportation Planners on inventory plan changes impacting delivery commitments.
• Regularly communicate with Demand Planners to identify FC challenges and production bottlenecks.
• Analyze and manage aging reports and 8-day-to-expire reports to mitigate waste risk.
• Utilize FuturMaster for proper inventory planning.
• Provide meeting recaps and enforce accountability for action items.
• Facilitate monthly/weekly meetings with strategic cross-functional teams (internal & co-packers).
• Coordinate with distribution centers and sales to minimize product loss due to aging.
• Coordinate meetings with Manufacturing to ensure transparency and production efficiencies.
• Prepare and distribute reports on activity and performance metrics.
• Cross-train with other Central Planners and provide backup support during absences.
• Work directly with Supply Planning Manager on projects and process improvements.
• Visit manufacturing sites to understand processes and build relationships.
• Provide training to new or associate supply planners.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

* Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, steam, and compressed air systems

* Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs

* Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Root Cause Analysis activities

In this position, the employee is responsible for processing yogurt bases. Perform CIPs and periodic equipment cleaning to ensure the highest quality standards. Receive, test, and separate raw milk, then enter test results and milk load data into SAP. Perform all raw CIPs and cleaning tasks as needed to support departmental requirements while maintaining quality standards. Additionally, perform all pasteurizer operator functions and the other duties listed below.

Full-time opportunity.

Schedule:

12-hourshifts: 6 pm-6 am

Week One: 3 Days on 4 days off

Week Two: 4 Days on, 3 days off

This position will require the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as individually to repair, install, adjust, or maintain production and packaging equipment. This will also include equipment that is servo-mechanical as well as electro-mechanically operated. All work needs to be done in a clean sanitary manor as required in a food manufacturing plant. Candidates must be available to work weekends.

* Repair or maintain the operating condition of the equipment used in production and packaging of a dairy product

* Align, fit, or assemble component parts and hardware, using hand or power tools

• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of all dry goods warehouse.
• Check for shortages and reject damaged goods on incoming freight deliveries.
• Build various raw material orders to be shipped to co-packers.
• Keep recycling area presentable at all times and accurately complete the proper waste tracking forms.
• Unload collected recyclable material into balers and other dedicated recycling bins.
• Maintain records and documents as necessary.
• Receive plant chemicals and transfer them into secondary storage containers.
• Prepare collection bins as needed. Operate the bin washer if necessary.
• Create bales of plastic & cardboard from the vertical balers, and manually bale rebox cardboard.
• Operate power industrial equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, crane, balers, compactor and bin washer in a safe manner at all times.

• Contribute to ongoing meetings such as : Monthly Teams Meeting with Groupe Lactalis (France), Quarterly meetings with each division Quality leader about lab progress, Quarterly meetings with each division VP Quality.
• Provide recommendations for new alternative test methods, thus improving lab efficiencies
• Maintain communications with Groupe Lactalis: reports and KPIs to DQG in Laval, attend annual group Lactalis seminars for Laboratory and R&D updates and incorporate them into US Lab practices

Education

• 5+ years Management experience required
• Lab auditing experience required
• Minimum of 10 years relevant previous analytical laboratory experience in a regulated industry required.

Certifications and Specific Knowledge

• Thorough knowledge of principles of Food analysis required.
• Strong laboratory skills (Chemistry and Microbiology)
• Strong Mathematics knowledge including stoichiometry and statistics.
• Strong communication skills to communicate direction and new methodology to lab personal
• Strong Computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report writing and presentations.
• Attend periodic training/ seminars pertaining to ISO methods, AOAC International methods, BAM methods

Competencies

• Mastery of the chemistry of dairy products
• Capacity to audit strategies in term of Hygiene, Safety, Risks and Environment or Laboratory and to analyze, elaborate and present the results and the associated action plans (teams of investigation)
• Master statistics logics necessary to manage metrology, the follow-up of the allegiances of the methods and the validation of the methods of routine versus references

The Warehouse Management Specialist (WMS) is responsible for supporting production and processing with the flow of raw materials and packaging through the facility. They will do this by verifying operator documentation, controlling losses, maintaining inventory accuracy and continuous cycle counting.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality, as applicable and defined in plant and department procedures.
• Verify and maintain proper inventory accuracy to meet internal and external customer needs.
• Ensure all required inventory counts are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure no material shortages or downtime occur as a result of inventory discrepancies or inaccuracy.
• Ensure all reports/tasks are completed on time and accurately.
• Compare inventories & research discrepancies between WMS and SAP
• Provide timely and accurate information on raw material losses.
• Understand material ordering process and the role/responsibility of our offsite materials warehouse.
• Review and validate milk base batching sheets, consume materials to processing batch orders.
• Validate pallets produced per production, consume materials into production order.
• Teco (confirm production orders completed/closed) and final verification of high losses for accounting purposes.
• File Management of OCS and batching sheets to provide support and assist with traceability audits.
• Assist production and warehouse in making any corrections to quantities for produced finished goods pallets.
• Perform various work investigations, solve problems, collect data and complete work assignments as needed.
• Ensure physical counts of raw materials for inventory control take place and any necessary adjustments to include STO/COGI are completed timely.
• Assist operators with all WMS issues; schedule changes to meet demands, current tasks, relocations, etc.
• Manage the inventory and disposal of obsolete materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
