Job Description:

  • Perform various financial analyses on claims data, including monthly and maybe weekly reports on accruals and costs by business unit and distribute to executives and business unit leaders. Follow the insurance renewal premiums and provide cost reports and assist with the allocation of premiums to the business units.
  • Provide monthly reports on the claims payments and recoveries to management and finance.
  • Review Certificates of Insurance (COI) from vendors and suppliers for adequate limits and coverages. Work with the Vendor Master Team by reviewing insurance requirements and verification of same on COIs.
  • Using the third-party adjuster's database system, pull various reports as needed.
  • Assist in the tracking of corrective actions from property inspections and infrared thermography studies of our plants to ensure we are completing mitigation of risks found.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with business insurance programs and some knowledge of various insurance coverages.
  • Strong analytical skills and the use of Excel to manage large quantities of data using pivot tables and graphing.
  • Good communications skills in communicating with various levels of management at corporate and the business units.
  • An ability to use AI in simplifying the data analysis is a plus.
  • Some college education is a strong plus.
