JOB SUMMARY:

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Create a Schedule of Values for our pay applications and submit to the General Contractor.
  • Analyze the construction schedule and create a schedule for submittals, material ordering and estimated field labor durations & project completion.
  • Create submittals for doors, frames and hardware from architectural plans and specification.
  • Manage and respond to electronic contractual changes (RFI’s, PC’s, Etc.). Quote changes that affect our material and/or labor cost. Distribute Change Order Due letters to the contractor.
  • Order materials (Purchase orders) from approved submittals for timely delivery according to the construction schedule or as agreed upon with the contractor for billed and stored material.
  • Support the Performance Door project field supervisor for the timely delivery of materials according to the construction schedule. Send field use drawings periodically reflecting updated schedules incorporating project revisions.
  • Provide monthly pay application to the accounting department including back up documentation for stored or FSC materials.
  • Actively pursue contractual β€œChange Orders” from β€œprice and proceed” CO Due letters. Take an active role in collecting money.
  • Approve weekly vendor invoices for payment. Check vendor costs against our purchase order.
  • Other job duties and responsibilities as needed.

The Product Data Bill of Materials Specialist I functions as the product data liaison for bill translation work. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Screen standard order design via drawings and bill of materials.
  • Read and understand bills of materials and product drawings.
  • Process Product Change Notices for products.
  • Establish positive relationships with all areas of the business.
  • Create and maintain engineering item data within an ERP system while being responsible for adherence to Dezurik Engineering and Quality standards.
  • Run reports in ERP system to check for accuracy.
  • Maintain automated bill of materials generation program with new and changing requirements.
  • Populate related data files.
  • Validate and share relevant data regarding bills of materials.
  • Support daily operations as needed.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Shifts Available:

2nd shift: Monday–Friday with flexible start times between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. A total of 9 hours per shift is required.


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Inventory Counting: Perform regular cycle counts of inventory items to verify quantities and locations, typically without disrupting warehouse operations.
  • Data Recording and Reporting: Accurately record counts and discrepancies using inventory management systems, spreadsheets, or specialized software. They generate reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and actions taken to resolve issues.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, which might involve checking records, verifying product location, or addressing potential causes of the variance.
  • Maintaining Accuracy: Ensure that all inventory data is recorded accurately and that inventory procedures are consistently followed to prevent errors in stock levels.
  • Inventory Audits: Assist with periodic full-scale physical inventories and participate in stock reconciliations when required.


The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Experience in transportation, logistics or distribution center environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Moderate proficiency with office based software
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
