URO HOSPITALIST! Mid-Size Indiana Metro!!
✦ New
$4,000
Terre Haute, IN 1 day ago

Love practicing urology but feeling a little burned out by all the call or by getting up every morning facing another hard, busy day? Maybe you are a baby boomer who loves practicing but needs more time off than your present job allows? Have I got a deal for you! No, seriously! I really do.

Consider working as a uro hospitalist at a level 3 hospital! Our new client is offering $4,000 per shift for 182 shifts a year - that is $728,000 per year! PLUS a commencement bonus of $50K and full benefits for working a one week on then one week off schedule; OR two weeks on with two weeks off! You would cover the ER call, performing elective and emergency urology procedures. And when you want to – should you want to - you can see patients in the clinic and earn an additional stipend. How many urologists do you know who work half the year and make a fulltime salary? You don’t even have to work in the middle of nowhere to enjoy this schedule! This opportunity is located in Terra Haute IN, a mid-sized metro an hour away from the Indianapolis International Airport. Other hospitalists there commute from Florida, Chicago and other places. So live where you want and fly in to work here. The airport is serviced by American Airlines, Southwest and United. You could grab your partner and take off to Paris on your weeks off – or Cancun – or even India. Should you choose to live in Terra Haute, the metro area has 170,000 people and is located just south of the snow belt of northern Indiana – a completely physician-friendly state. It is a vibrant college town sitting up on the bluffs known for its location as the Crossroads of the Nation. Costs are low, houses are lovely and your money will go a long way here. It is safe and homey and friendly – a wonderful place to raise a family. Plus the climate is like that of Kentucky or Tennessee with long summers and pleasant winters Look I know this isn’t a major metro like Chicago – which is 3 ½ hours away, but you can take the kids to the Terra Haute Children’s Museum or to the Bank of Pinball – or head off to the Sycamore Winery or the Larry Bird Museum. There are bunches of parks and hiking trails and great restaurants like the Steak House and the Newport Reading Company, fun bars like Verve, and with lots of ethnic places. I strongly suggest you check this job out if you’ve been feeling like you need some breathing room – but still want to work and make a decent living.
