M&A Associate | Renewable Energy | NYC

We are partnering with a high growth renewable energy platform focused on distributed generation solar and battery storage across the U.S. The company is backed by a leading global private equity infrastructure investor and is actively expanding its portfolio through acquisitions and project financing.

This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial team in a true buy side role, working directly with senior leadership on investment decisions and strategic growth initiatives.

The Role:

• Support execution of M&A transactions and capital raises across solar and storage assets
• Build and maintain complex financial models, including valuation, debt, and tax equity structures
• Lead and coordinate due diligence processes with internal teams and external advisors
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior leadership and investment committee
• Work cross functionally with development, engineering, and legal teams through closing

What They're Looking For:

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, or a relevant energy investing role
• Strong financial modeling and transaction execution experience
• Exposure to renewables, infrastructure, or energy is preferred
• Ability to operate in a fast paced, high ownership environment
