Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection of runway and taxiway construction activities including FAA P-501 PCCP slip form and side form paving operations, ensuring compliance with specialized concrete paving equipment practices, vibration setup, paver speed, screed inspection, finishing, and surface treatment requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of FAA P-401 asphalt placement and compaction activities, including air-void testing, surface defect repair, release agent application, and cold milling, patching, profiling, and grade correction operations.
  • Inspect installation and testing of FAA P-201 base material and P-306 lean concrete base systems, including earthwork operations, soil import/export activities, subgrade preparation, and temporary erosion and drainage control setup and compliance.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of FAA active airfield work rules and protocols, including barricades, fencing, lighting, signage, pavement markings, FAA 7460 compliance, and vehicle service road requirements for both reflective and non-reflective runway/taxiway signage systems.
  • Ensure compliance with FOD controls and active airfield protocols, including dust control, sweeping procedures, airport security and escorting protocols, and FAA vehicle marking/identification requirements across all operational areas.
  • Inspect FAA airfield lighting systems including taxiway edge, centerline, TDZ, hold bar, and status lights, ensuring proper series circuits and regulator functionality throughout all installation phases.
  • Coordinate opening and closing of active runways and taxiways using proper radio protocol and multi-group coordination procedures, maintaining operational safety and efficiency standards.

What You'll Do

The following duties are considered essential functions of the role, including but not limited to the responsibilities outlined below.

  • Operational Setup: Directly manage B2B retail logistics channels from the West Coast hub during the initial launch and stabilization phase.

Job Summary
The Division Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Global Partnerships Co- Presidents and the Global Partnerships team, ensuring strong day to day operational and administrative coordination across the division such as manage calendars, travel, meeting logistics and department office. Essential Functions
  • Manage Co- Presidents Global Partnerships calendars and book all travel, hotels, set meetings, create agenda, order catering, submitting expense reports and reservations.
  • Provide Support to the Global Partnerships Events and Operations Team, such as internal GP employee communications, staff gatherings, catering for GP lunches, providing general office administrative duties including but not limited to: distributing mail, answering phones, ordering supplies, and scheduling meetings.

The Director of Operations, Government Relations works Monday–Friday at Baby2Baby's headquarters (5830 W. Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90016) and other locations as needed. The role is currently in-office 3–5 days per week and may include occasional weekend hours or travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as a strategic operational partner to the Chief Operating Officer, translating organizational priorities into clear, actionable project plans for government-funded programs while leading the management and coordination of relationships with government officials.
  • Acts on behalf of the COO, as delegated, to drive cross-departmental alignment, collaboration, and accountability across funded initiatives, partnering with Finance, Programs, Warehousing, Communications, Development, Procurement, and others..
  • Coordinates the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery, operational excellence, and full compliance with grant requirements.
  • Manages communication with internal and external stakeholders, including program teams, finance, compliance partners, and funders, to ensure initiatives advance efficiently and remain aligned with organizational goals.
  • In partnership with Program Directors, provides oversight, direction, and accountability for Program Specialist Leads, ensures consistency, quality, and operational rigor across programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience in government, nonprofit, or related sectors, with increasing levels of responsibility.
