As an Environmental Health & Safety Officer (EHS Officer), you will create, implement, and maintain Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs for our growing list of life science and high-tech clients. Your time will be spent on-site with our clients, developing and implementing customized safety programs in hazard communication, biosafety, chemical safety, emergency preparedness, radiation safety, and facilities safety. Job Responsibilities
- Hands-on development and implementation of client EHS programs, including: Biosafety, Chemical Safety, Radiation Safety, Hazard Communication, Emergency Preparedness, Additional OSHA specific safety programs as needed.
- Establishment and maintenance of EHS permits and licenses in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Conduct Job Safety Analyses for hazardous materials processes.
- Conduct Risk Assessments to analyze and evaluate the proper handling of biological materials.
- Work with clients’ staff to develop a culture of EHS and worker safety by expanding and writing policies, procedures, instructions and manuals.
- Coordinate and facilitate safety committees.
- Prepare and deliver training to fulfill regulatory requirements and ensure clients’ employees are fully aware of the safety program.
- Maintain complete documentation of all aspects of the EHS program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; Biology or Chemistry degrees strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Life Sciences desired.
- 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting (biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, academic science, or medical technology science preferred) or EHS related work experience.
- Must have valid driver's license, ability to commute to various locations on a daily basis, and potentially multiple locations during the workday.

A Day in the Life of the Enterprise Account Manager: Acting as a single point of contact, the Account manager is responsible for uncovering revenue generating opportunities from Astound's existing customers.

Your Tasks
- Coordinate certification projects from initiation through first factory inspection, including tracking file numbers, service agreements, and inspection cycles.

- The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $65,000 - 75,000. The Outpatient Procedures Department at CHA One Cabot specializes in same-day surgeries and minor procedures that do not require an overnight hospital stay. Patients receive care from experienced medical professionals in a comfortable and efficient setting, with a focus on safety, personalized attention, and timely recovery. This site is designed to meet the growing demand for accessible, high-quality surgical care in a community-based environment.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care for patients in accordance with established Nursing Standards of Care. The RN demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for the patient with complex needs, and demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and is directly reports to a designated nurse manager and/or clinical manager/off-shift manager.
Job Requirements:
BSN preferred
Current or conditional Massachusetts RN license required
Maintains current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience as a procedural nurse, or OR experience required.

Department Description
Inpatient Case Management provides psychosocial assessments, evaluations, and referrals for adults, and/or families with psychiatric illness, substance abuse, and medical illness. Casework or therapy takes place in the hospital setting. Cross Training to all areas of Care Management.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Care Management, the RN Case Manager provides clinically-based case management to support the delivery of effective and efficient patient care consistent with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Conditions of Participation. The RN Case Manager will collaborate with other members of the health care team to identify appropriate utilization of resources and to ensure reimbursement. Utilize criteria to confirm medical necessity for admission and continued stay. With the patient, family and health care team, create a post-acute care plan appropriate to the patient's needs and resources and facilitate this transition in concert with that patient's inpatient and post-acute care teams.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BSN preferred
- Current or Conditional MA RN Licensure
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
- Licensure and Certifications:
- Certification in Case Management preferred

The new Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Somerville will provide a transformative continuum of patient and family-centered care for diverse youth with mental health needs.
The Adolescent Unit is a secured psychiatric unit that provides care for children between the ages of 12 and 18. The unit is located in Somerville Hospital. This is an acute care unit, working on assessment, stabilization and after care treatment planning. We have a multidisciplinary team focused on teaching self-regulation, de-escalation and restraint reduction. This approach is used to provide patient and family centered care.
