Job Summary:
As a Machine Operator for H&S, you'll be setting up and operating Boring Mills, Lathes, Hobbing, and Grinding Machines to machine industrial gearing parts to specific tolerances. The operator is responsible for operating controls, setting offsets, editing programs, some deburring, and performing self-inspection of parts in-process and upon completion for conformance to requirements. The Operator will also use large overhead cranes and other large equipment.
Primary responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce metal parts.
- Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
- Calculate where to cut or bore.
- Shape steel, aluminum, titanium, plastic, silicon and other materials.
- Determine how fast or slow work piece is fed into machine.
- Determine how much material to remove.
- Select tools and materials for the job.
- Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations.
- Mark the work piece to show where cuts should be made.
- Position work piece on the drill press, lathe, or milling machine.
- Monitor and control feed rate and speed.
- Ensure work piece is properly lubricated and/or cooled.
- Regulate temperature of work piece.
- Detect problems by listening for specific sounds.
- Adjust cutting speed to compensate for harmonic vibrations.
- Monitor the accuracy of cuts.
- Replace dull cutting tools.
- Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.
- Produce large quantities of parts.
- Determine how automated equipment will cut a part.
- Determine cutting path.
- Concert path, speed, and feed information into set of instructions for machine tool.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five years' experience on CNC Horizontal Boring Mills, Lathes, and Grinders, and proficiency with large-part machining and blueprint reading; with the understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensioning.
- CNC programming experience a plus.
- Must be able to perform own setups, measure parts that consistently result in precision quality parts.
- Large overhead crane experience and move large work pieces.
- Must be able to edit G and M-codes, trouble shoot jobs and make adjustments as required.
- Strong shop mathematics (trigonometry) aptitude and the ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, mics and other gauges).
- Must have the ability to use a feed and speed chart or calculator to determine appropriate feeds, speeds, and depths of cut.
- Understanding of metal properties and appropriate cutting tools.
- Positive attitude required; dependable, self-starter and the willingness to help others.
- Ability to work in a large manufacturing environment and performs well with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
Job Summary
The Safety Advisor is responsible for supporting, implementing, and overseeing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs on active project sites. This role partners closely with client teams, project management, and field personnel to ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and reduce risk through proactive planning, monitoring, and coaching.
This role is open to the following positions:
- Weekend Dayshift: (Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm)
- Weekend Evenings/Nights: (Friday Noon-9pm, Saturday & Sunday 4pm- Midnight)
MUST have trenching & excavation experience!
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with client teams to plan, implement, and supervise project-specific Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
- Monitor field activities to identify safety violations, incidents, and trends, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote and reinforce a positive safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and engagement with field team members.
- Conduct and document daily field safety audits, inspections, and observations.
- Attend and actively participate in project safety meetings, including pre-construction meetings, coordination meetings, and toolbox talks.
- Assist with investigations involving injuries, near misses, property damage, and general liability incidents, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
- Oversee and manage site safety orientation processes for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of written site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), particularly for high-risk activities.
- Create and deliver relevant weekly safety talks based on site conditions, work scope, and identified hazards.
- Present safety information during Safety Stand Downs, pre-shift huddles, and special safety initiatives.
- Educate project teams on applicable Federal, State, and local occupational safety and health regulations and monitor regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Required Qualifications

- OSHA 510
- Proven experience in a Safety Advisor, Safety Officer, or similar EHS role within construction, industrial, or project-based environments.
- Demonstrated experience with scaffolding safety, including inspection, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable Federal and State safety standards.
- Ability to conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence personnel at all levels.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or equivalent).
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience working on large or multi-contractor project sites.

What You'll Do
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the cleanliness and physical condition of the hotel guest rooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and public areas. You'll maintain a positive and friendly attitude with all guests and other employees to act as the communicator and liaison between guests and cleaners.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Prepare inspection report with the status of all guest rooms at the beginning of the shift. This includes all guest requests, out of order rooms, and show rooms for the day.
- Inspect all guest check-out rooms for cleanliness, appropriate guest amenities, and the correct working condition of room equipment.
- Report any substandard conditions or damage of the guest room to the Housekeeping department.
- Evaluate room cleaners on their job performance according to the hotel standards. When necessary, take appropriate action (retraining, etc.) to ensure they are performing at a high quality level.
- Notify Front Desk of all vacant and clean rooms, completion of guest requests, and room status discrepancies.
- The Front Desk will give you all room moves, late check-outs, and additional guest requests for appropriate follow-up action.
- Answer the department telephone using friendly telephone etiquette.
- You'll help guests with special requests, information, and status of Lost & Found items.
- Check the hotel's PMS computer for information concerning room status and to enter updated room status.
- Collect, log, and secure all lost and found items in a locked cabinet, room cleaners' assignment sheets, secure floor keys and office, lock office door.
- Confirm the work schedule for the following day with room cleaners.
- Complete a written report of all room statuses for the Front Desk.
- File all daily reports in the file cabinet.

- High School Diploma is preferred.
- 1 year of experience in customer service or similar role.
- Housekeeping supervisory or related job experience is preferred.

ResponsibilitiesBasic Function - This position is involved with facility maintenance duties and customer interface. Previous experience is preferred, but not required in all positions. Individual must be able to perform with minimum supervision. Other duties may include: equipment service and general housekeeping tasks.
- Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted in the checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter and debris is removed from all areas of the facility using brooms, mops, brushes and other hand tools.

- Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, the office and rest rooms.
- Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth and the office.
- Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc. are properly maintained and look neat and clean.
- Replace burned out bulbs.
- Apply oil absorbent to oil spills.
- Submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
- Check conditions of safety items, such as gate arms to ensure clearance bars are secure.
- Check ticket spitters and gates daily for proper operations, ticket supply, accuracy of time on clock and general appearance.
- Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager.
- Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Maintain a garage/lot sweep sheet.
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment such as weed eater, lawnmowers or other electrical tools to repair or construct items, as applicable.
- Shovel, plow or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager using shovels, snow blowers and other light duty equipment.
- Report any unknown, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager in a timely manner.
- Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction including the Five Customer Service Behaviors to ensure successful customer interactions.
- Assist customers within the facility or as directed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.
- Be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties including cashier, attendant, etc. on an as needed basis.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and remain complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education. May require facility maintenance, electrical and or painting experience and or skills training depending on the job assignment and facility.
License Requirement: The employee will be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be a requirement.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. Ability to withstand working with dust, chemicals and other possible irritants and work in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat).
Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
