Position Summary

The Staff Manufacturing Engineer will provide process engineering and controls support to develop, transfer, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for medical device manufacturing in an ISO 13485 compliant setting. Ensure projects meet all required quality, cost, capacity and regulatory requirements while adhering to company policy and best industry practices.

Key Accountabilities

• Support Design Transfer from R&D to manufacturing: define processes, tooling, test methods, cell layout, and work instructions.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and Work Instructions using continuous improvement methodologies.
• Own NC/CAPA records related to production components/processes and drive corrective and preventative action plans to completion.
• Build business cases to implement new technologies and applications which streamline business processes, including Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence tools, record digitization, automated test data collection, vision systems, ect.
• Establish working relationships with component manufacturers and provide technical feedback as required.
• Documentation & training: create process documentation, training materials, and guide technicians/operators through implementation.
• Design test methods to ensure process/product quality.
• Provide technical direction and leadership to project team members in investigation and experimentation efforts aimed at practical applications of scientific theories or principles
• Provide technical leadership to product development team
• Provide support as a Subject Matter Expert during internal/external audits for Quality and Regulatory Compliance.
• Provides complex design reviews and feedback for improvements in manufacturability.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent direct experience will also be considered.
• Typically 4–8 years’ experience with mechanical/electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.
• Medical device manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading cross functional project teams or supervising staff is desirable.
• DFMEA (design failure mode effect analysis) principles, PFMEA (process failure mode effect analysis) principles, AFMEA ((application) failure mode effect analysis) principles.
• Working knowledge of mechanical testing of systems, sub-systems, and components.

• Knowledge of intellectual property fundamentals and legal processes for managing intellectual art.

Physical Requirements

• Sit or stand for 8-10 hours per day.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.

Position Summary

NeuWave is seeking a dynamic Associate Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA) to lead and scale our quality and regulatory functions during a critical phase of transition and innovation. The Manufacturing Engineer I will support the implementation of technology and process solutions within Generac’s fabrication and paint departments. Working under the guidance of senior engineering staff, you will help bridge the gap between design and production by assisting with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews, tracking equipment performance (OEE), and helping optimize production flow on the shop floor.

Responsibilities:

• Process Support: Assist in the layout of production areas and the definition of manufacturing processes. Help select and implement tooling and equipment for capacity and improvement projects.
• Design Collaboration: Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by performing basic DFM reviews on sheet metal components to ensure they can be efficiently fabricated and welded.
• Data & Documentation: Maintain and update process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policies that support sheet metal fabrication value streams.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean and demand-driven initiatives to improve flexibility and speed. Assist in identifying "waste" within material and information flows.
• Shop Floor Engagement: Work directly with shop floor personnel to learn existing manufacturing methods and help deploy standard Generac tools and methodologies.
• Performance Tracking: Help monitor and report on OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and other key metrics to identify areas for operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology
• 1-3 years related experience in the Engineering function within a similar working environment (Internship or Co-op experience in fabrication or sheet metal is highly preferred).

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of Sheet Metal Fabrication Equipment (bending, laser cutting, welding).
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a "hands-on" production environment.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD and PTC Creo
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen).

What you'll do:

Our sales team is highly collaborative and works together towards a common goal. The Sales Associate would work out of our manufactured home community, Westwood Estates, located in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The position is going to be hourly, with a commission piece attached to the compensation.

Your job will include:

• Selling, processing, and closing homes in accordance with company business plans.
• Showing homes and highlighting the features and benefits of the homes and the community. Approximately 85% of your time will be spent showing homes.
• Adhering to the company’s selling philosophy when serving our customers while utilizing all selling and organizational tools provided to include accompanying them through model homes, undecorated models (which may be at various stages of construction), and/or available homesites.
