The SLP's responsibilities are to conduct evaluations and assessments, participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development and implementation, monitor outcomes as a member of the team, and provide EI supports to families for the benefit of the child.

Service locations include Branford, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Meriden, North Haven, Wallingford.

QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a valid Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license in the state of CT.

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Job Summary

Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degreerequired for Physician Assistants
  • Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners

Work Experience

  • One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or One (1) year of Urgent Care setting experience required. Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • National Certification
  • Active state medical licensure

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting preferred
  • Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, casting etc.
  • Preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
  • Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required.

Job Summary

Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
  • Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners

Work Experience

  • 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required
  • Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting
  • Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • National Certification
  • Active state medical licensure

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
  • Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Essential Functions

Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job?s purpose and objectives. Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable. Following are the essential functions of the job.

  • Examining and treating patients
  • Taking patients? medical histories
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
  • Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
  • Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting
  • Recording progress notes for follow-up patients
  • Educating and counseling patients
  • Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
  • Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care
  • Each provider will work an anticipated four (4), eight (8) or twelve (12) hours per shift which will be assigned by an authorized representative of GoHealth Urgent Care
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as a Project Manager
2. Proven experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues under pressure.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
6. Proficiency in relevant software, including MS Project, AutoCAD, and construction management systems.
7. Bachelor's degree in construction management
8. Experience in commercial ground-up construction is highly desirable.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
11. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
