The Systems Analyst II will provide application support and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Breast Imaging: Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, DEXA scans, and potentially stereotactic biopsies according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
- Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards.
- Patient Communication: Utilize AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) when communicating with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exam is performed on the correct patient, and establish rapport.
- Instruct and communicate with patients and families regarding the test to be performed and assess patient's ability to tolerate exam .
- Technical Procedures: Prepare patient and area for procedure by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors .
- Safety & Compliance: Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control protocols, radiation policies, and proper techniques.
- Use proper sterile techniques when setting up and performing invasive procedures and maintain hand hygiene requirements .
- Documentation: Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation such as requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status and shielding precautions taken, consent forms, etc.
- Maintain medical imaging records in appropriate systems according to department policies
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
- Report issues to management or appropriate department. Assist in maintaining supplies inventory .
- Quality & Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, remaining professional, and developing action plans when required .
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Current ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-M (Mammography) certifications
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license through Texas Medical Board
- Current BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience
- Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammograms and DEXA scans
- Knowledge of stereotactic biopsies preferred but not required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Imaging program .
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience required .
- Certification/Licensure:
- Current ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) certification required
- Current ARRT-M (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Mammography) certification required
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license through the Texas Medical Board required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Skills: Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammograms and DEXA scans. Knowledge of stereotactic biopsies preferred but not required.
- Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform tasks independently and maintain a calm, helpful attitude under stress .
