Responsibilities:

The position of Physician Assistant in the Department of Surgery, requires a highly competent, independent yet team-oriented individual who will be immersed in the management and coordination of all inpatient care of surgical patients, primarily located at a new hospital in Irvine, California.

The surgical patients will include general surgery and specialty surgical services, on all levels of care., including the intensive care unit. The physician assistant will be involved in resuscitations of surgical patients from the ED and ICU. Responsibilities include coordination of procedures (including scheduling operations and other procedures, etc) and follow-up, admit and discharge patients (including admission H&P, orders, discharge summary, instructions, and medications) when appropriate. The physician assistant will triage phone calls from patients and nurses and be responsible for the reviewing critical labs, follow-up of results with patients and medical staff, obtaining comprehensive medical histories, performing initial and daily physical examinations/assessments, and exploring patient?s health needs in a trauma informed manner. The physician assistant will identify, treat, and manage hospitalized patients. The physician assistant should demonstrate an advanced level of medical knowledge, clinical/technical competence, sound clinical judgment, professional communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and is responsible for professional development and competency validation. Job Description

The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) will be responsible for marketing and selling CARDAMYST via teleconference and/or telephone to targeted health care offices and providers, in close partnership with aligned field representatives. They will deliver impactful core selling messages and educational materials as part of their remote engagements, reinforcing in-person efforts and expanding overall reach. VSRs will need to be flexible regarding job responsibilities as they will include a variety of strategic tasks: amplifying call frequency with high-priority targets, triaging and qualifying targeted HCPs, supporting large geographic territories, and engaging aligned sales team micro-focus practitioners. The VSR will create positive, coordinated virtual selling interactions that drive awareness, adoption, and market growth for CARDAMYST. Additionally, they will possess excellent customer service skills and polished marketing and sales acumen to cultivate current office targets and develop new healthcare provider relationships within those offices. These skill sets will also be critical in educating on the clinical profile and first-in-class value of assigned products, addressing questions and concerns, and identifying signals of adoption. Furthermore, they will demonstrate the ability to learn complex medical topics, industry compliance guidelines, patient assistance programs, and navigate pharmacy and insurance landscapes to support account needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate regularly with field-based counterparts to ensure seamless execution of customer interactions and scheduling as appropriate.
  • Complete tasks and participate in projects as assigned by the field based Regional Sales Manager, as needed.
  • Provide actionable insights and feedback to field partners and team leadership regarding account sentiment, adoption signals, and opportunities for increased engagement.
  • Comply with all company, PDMA, compliance, and regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Work independently from a remote home office while collaborating cross-functionally in a coordinated territory model.
  • Cultivate an assigned virtual territory in alignment with field strategy and be accountable for measurable business results and engagement outcomes.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Job Overview:

You will collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams, serving as the subject matter expert for our control’s platform. In this role, you will support our service technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and retrofitting of PLC-based control systems utilized in hydraulic and servo-electric presses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control System Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair PLC-based press control systems, hydraulic motion control circuits, and servo systems.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission control systems for hydraulic and servo electric presses, ensuring proper integration of PLCs and peripherals
  • Retrofits & Upgrades: Assist in modernizing hydraulic press controls, upgrading outdated PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, and hydraulic servo systems for improved performance and automation.
  • Field Service & Customer Support: Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for hydraulic and servo electric press controls, minimizing downtime, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Programming & Debugging: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic, HMI screens, motion control programs, and press automation sequences.
  • Preventive Maintenance & Optimization: Conduct control system inspections and hydraulic system tuning to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain service reports, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and software backups for customer and internal records.
