Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Tulip app building with MES as key area of focus
  • Integration of Tulip with enterprise solutions: SAP, CMMS. Etc.
  • Design, implement, and maintain analytics and dashboards in Power BI and Tulip Analytics.
  • Evaluate new solutions and support lab testing with onsite proof of concept activities.
  • Support end of line test cell enhancements.
  • On-call rotation for after hours support of applications deployed by Advanced Manufacturing team.
  • Responsible for managing assigned project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure manufacturing data accuracy from responsible systems.
  • Regularly conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions with operations team.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or Industrial Technology
  • 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience supporting operations technology.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing technical projects; including requirements, budgets, timelines, and changes.
  • Proven track record of utilizing technology to drive manufacturing improvements.
  • Ability to lead workshops with sites and key stakeholders to understand and document complex manufacturing requirements.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and supporting manufacturing systems; specifically, MES. Includes others such as QMS, PLCs, SCADA, Data Historians, CMMS, and computer vision.
  • Expertise with common OT programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C# and/or others

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the QA Manager, the QA Supervisor manages approximately 4 -7 technicians while assuring food safety and specifications of products and processes by enforcing quality policies, procedures, and standards. - Focus on shift quality assurance requirements. Notify and advise production supervisor of problems and the effective correction of problems. Works cross-functionally with all departments in preventing potential food safety and quality issues. Maintains communications with all shifts on problems and or potential issues affecting production. Conducts Shift handoff between QA Supervisor couter part. Trains lab techs and ensure training records are maintained.
- Review HACCP and FSMA production documentation for final release of finished products. Working knowledge of FSMA. Verify ingredients received into facility.
- Responsible for monitoring overall departmental performance which includes training employees, planning and assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Coordinate with QA Manager in investigating and resolving customer complaints and/or quality and food safety issues, report findings, and develop corrective action measures.
- Review Hold Report and provide technical assistance in handling products for reblend, reboxing, etc.
- Participates in the development, implementation, and training of new policies, procedures and/or programs at local site.
- Works regularly with other management staff in an effort to develop and maintain most efficient quality assurance procedures for respective areas.
- Participates in SQF audits as well as 2nd and 3rd party audits.
- Is an advocate of safety within the facility and follows all safety procedures. Following all Company policies pertaining to employee and product safety.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 3-5 years manufacturing and /or laboratory experience required, food industry preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, FSMA and quality systems, and sanitation requirements for a manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to problem solve, show a high attention to detail and be very self motivated.
- Must possess an understanding of chemical analysis and testing.
- Proven ability to work under pressure in an extremely fast pace environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, and standard work to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, scrap reduction, labor efficiency, throughput, and productivity gains.
  • Design and implement tooling, fixtures, automation, and poka-yoke solutions to improve process capability and repeatability.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and downtime drivers; lead structured root-cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, A3) and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Quality to develop control plans, PFMEAs, Cp/Cpk studies, and standardized inspection methods.
  • Support new product introductions through process development, equipment validation, pilot builds, and launch activities.
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives via cycle time improvements, material yield optimization, and value engineering.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability, preventive maintenance strategies, and uptime.
  • Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation including BOMs, routings, standard times, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
  • Evaluate capital equipment needs, build ROI justifications, and manage installation and commissioning.
  • Provide hands-on floor support to troubleshoot issues and stabilize daily production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal operational standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline
  • 3–7 years of Manufacturing Engineering or process improvement experience
  • Strong understanding of process flow development and production optimization
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, A3, etc.)
  • Proven record of improving productivity, quality, or cost in a manufacturing environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in job shop or mixed-model manufacturing
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, SmartFactory, etc.)
  • Automation, robotics, CNC, or assembly experience
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Design Engineer is responsible for the support of new and existing products. This support may include, but is not limited to, product development, prototype generation, laboratory testing and problem solving, from concept to production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Uses computer aided design tools for two- and three-dimensional magnetic analysis, computation fluid analysis, structural finite element analysis to develop and optimize designs.

· Designs for manufacturability

· Uses lab equipment such as force testers, multimeters, flow meters and environmental chambers to ensure products exceed customer requirements.

· Uses hand tool, soldering tools, and presses to build prototypes and customer evaluations

· Participates and/or leads design reviews and records meeting notes and lessons learned.
