Job Description:

• Job Event, on Tuesday, March 24th from 3 PM to 7 PM

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
• Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspects tractor/truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
• Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
• Immediately reports all safety hazards. Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
• Performs count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded.
• Checks and completes in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight.
• Moves tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
• Unloads products from the trailer, transports items into designated customer storage areas.
• Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy.
• Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
• Collects money (cash or checks) where required. Loads customer returns on to trailer and secures trailer doors.
• Ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured.
• Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork. Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
• Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
• At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Primary responsibilities of the Shift Manager position include:

• Supervise store crew and all workstations in day to day operations

Employment Type: Hourly Shift: Various Shifts Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: Troubleshoot, repair and maintain the facility's production and equipment mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems. Safely carries out work while following electrical code, equipment manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications as required. Uses hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment to complete daily tasks. Support continuous improvement activities to aid in increasing the facility's SIS efficiency.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled preventive maintenance machine servicing when not working on emergency or corrective maintenance activities
• Use a range of skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Recognize mechanical defects in equipment using touch, sight and sound and repair equipment in accordance with established GMP and safety procedures, conforming with requirements of local building and safety codes
• Competently utilize a complete set of standard mechanic's tools. Proficiently use calipers, feeler gauges and micrometers
• Completes and passes all mandatory safety, GMP and SQF training classes. Participate in Kaizen, focused improvement and other continuous improvement activities as required to support raising the SIS of the facility
• Completes daily mechanic time sheets. Signs off work order and preventive maintenance sheets when completed and returns paperwork to planner scheduler
• Maintains radio contact with planner scheduler, foremen and maintenance department supervisors using supplied walkie-talkie radios. Answers radio calls as required. Maintains radio etiquette at all times
• Operate shop tools and equipment such as lathe, drill press, etc. to make repairs and/or fabricate simple parts
• Responsible for following all food safety policies, procedures and regulatory criteria including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated preventive controls
• Other duties as assigned
• Travel may be required

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5-10 years of journey level experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment

Knowledge and Skills:

• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts and operating safety
• Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools commonly used in electrical and mechanical trades
• Basic knowledge of PLC operation

Employment Type: Salaried Shift: Second Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: Under the direction of the QA Manager, the QA Supervisor manages approximately 4 -7 technicians while assuring food safety and specifications of products and processes by enforcing quality policies, procedures, and standards. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Focus on shift quality assurance requirements. Notify and advise production supervisor of problems and the effective correction of problems. Works cross-functionally with all departments in preventing potential food safety and quality issues. Maintains communications with all shifts on problems and or potential issues affecting production. Conducts Shift handoff between QA Supervisor couter part. Trains lab techs and ensure training records are maintained.
• Review HACCP and FSMA production documentation for final release of finished products. Working knowledge of FSMA. Verify ingredients received into facility.
• Responsible for monitoring overall departmental performance which includes training employees, planning and assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Coordinate with QA Manager in investigating and resolving customer complaints and/or quality and food safety issues, report findings, and develop corrective action measures.
• Review Hold Report and provide technical assistance in handling products for reblend, reboxing, etc.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and training of new policies, procedures and/or programs at local site.
• Works regularly with other management staff in an effort to develop and maintain most efficient quality assurance procedures for respective areas.
• Participates in SQF audits as well as 2nd and 3rd party audits.
• Is an advocate of safety within the facility and follows all safety procedures. Following all Company policies pertaining to employee and product safety.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 3-5 years manufacturing and /or laboratory experience required, food industry preferred.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in QA/QC preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, FSMA and quality systems, and sanitation requirements for a manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to problem solve, show a high attention to detail and be very self motivated.
• Must possess an understanding of chemical analysis and testing.
