The IBM Institute for Business Value (IBV) is seeking a highly motivated university student for a 10-week summer internship focused on research-driven storytelling, content creation, and digital communications. The ideal candidate will have strong interest in business, economics, and emerging technologies, paired with foundational skills in writing, strategic communication, and social media engagement.

Reporting to the Global Lead for Engagement & Eminence, the intern will work within the IBV Analytics, Creative, Editorial, and Engagement (ACEE) team, and collaborate across the broader IBV. The intern will support the creation and amplification of thought leadership content across digital channels.

Required education

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Academic Program Enrollment: Currently enrolled at a university or educational institution, or recently completed qualification.
  • Basic Understanding of Business Operations: Familiarity with general business concepts and principles, with a willingness to learn and expand knowledge.

Introduction

The IBM Consulting Learning and Knowledge (L&K) Americas Lead will be accountable for overall skills growth for our client-facing Consulting staff in the Americas and local execution of the global L&K strategy. Your role and responsibilities
  • Engage Geography stakeholders (Geo General Manager, Operations Leader, Market Leaders Service Line leaders, etc.) as well as peers from within the Geo Talent Supply Chain (HR, Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition) as the "primary face of L&K" to the Geography.

  • Team with other L&K roles (Portfolio Leads, Lead Learning Strategists, Delivery Leads, Shared Services Learning Consultants) in our organizational matrix to ensure coordination and alignment.

  • Manage the L&K Geography budget, securing initial requirements in the Fall Plan, engaging with Geography leadership and Finance to agree a committed budget, manage budget changes through quarters and ensure the overall program stays within the annual/quarterly budget envelopes - all requiring close coordination with business operations leads as well as the various L&K Portfolio and Shared Services teams.

Required technical and professional expertise

Job Summary

The Intern/Co-Op position at Maxcess Rotometrics is targeting Junior or Senior level undergraduate students currently enrolled in an Accredited engineering program at a College or University. This position will provide an opportunity for the student to work alongside the engineering team to support the design and manufacturing of converting tools (rotary dies, print cylinders, etc). This type of tooling is used to convert materials into labels for wine/beer bottles, medical and automotive devices (band aid’s, gaskets) and non-wovens (diapers, face masks).

Preferred Qualifications:

Department Information

Georgia Tech Research Institute's program seeks students pursuing a High School diploma with an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math to join our Summer Internship Program. To be eligible for this program, students must have completed the 2024 High School Summer Internship Program Pre-Application prior to January 22, 2024. interns will assist GTRI's researchers with a variety of Research, Fabrication, Analysis, Modeling, Design, Software Development, Hardware Development and Research Support tasks and work in different labs across campus. Students should be interested in learning about research, analysis, fabrication, design, development, and/or assembly of RF, Analog, and Digital systems as defined by unit management.



Job Summary

Under direct supervision, a Research Intern will contribute to projects and/or programs specific to the hiring department. A Research Intern may work across diverse fields related to their field of study or other areas of interest. This role may work in a laboratory setting, closed laboratory, field sites or office. A Research Intern may contribute to projects and/or programs, which may require safety training as a prerequisite. This role will interact consistently with unit management, staff, faculty and students.
