Job Summary and Qualifications
- The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
- Exposure to multiple specialties (maternal, neonatal and pediatrics) which includes managing high-risk pregnancies, neonatal care, pediatric support, postpartum recovery and surgical procedures.

What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- BLS required upon hire. NRP certification required within 1 month of hire. ACLS and AWHONN Fetal monitoring required for LD/AP. PALs required for Pediatrics.
- 2 years acute care experience in Mother Baby, Labor & Delivery / Antepartum, and Women’s Surgery.
