This position is responsible for accurately recording, interpreting and administering the treatment prescribed by radiation oncologists. Radiation therapists take daily images, analyze them and make adjustments to the patient to ensure accurate treatment. During simulation, therapists operate a CT scanner to obtain images to assist the physician in localizing and outlining the anatomical areas requiring treatment. Radiation therapists have continual contact with patients for the course of their treatment, educating them about treatment and simulation procedures and potential radiation side effects. Monitoring and observing each patient's clinical progress and emotional needs also are part of the therapist's daily routine. The therapist, as a member of the health care team, refers patients to physicians, nurses or social service professionals when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided:
WV: Radiation Therapist through West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board
- Board Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas

- Administers external radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist to affect curative or palliative treatment of disease.
- Assures that the patient’s position, the orientation of the treatment equipment and the placement of the treatment beam conform to the specifications of the planned course of treatment, as monitored by daily and weekly chart reviews, and accuracy through the use of image guidance.
- Performs simulations and localization (where available) according to established protocols and produces usable images for the planning and verifying of treatment procedures. Calculates actual monitor units in cases of emergent simulations after normal department hours.
- Prepares and constructs equipment, such as immobilization devices, treatment devices, and protection devices.
- Assists the radiation oncologists, medical dosimetrists, and medical physicists in preparing the physical and technical aspects of radiation treatment plans by providing information about the patient’s condition and anatomy.
- Educates, prepares and reassures patients and their families by answering questions, providing physical assistance, and reinforcing the radiation oncologists’ advice regarding treatment reactions and post-treatment care.
- Plans and performs procedures for the treatment and imaging of patients, meeting the quality standards of the department as identified through professional literature and department policy.
- Performs daily equipment warm-up and quality checks as outlined by medical physics. Documents QA as required. Reports any variances to medical physics.
- Determines technical charges based on procedure(s) performed and assigns appropriate CPT code.
- Attends and participates in departmental meetings and activities to support process improvement and team building.
- Applies knowledge and technical aspects of the position, maintaining professional and technical competencies as required by the organization and/or the accreditation and licensing bodies.
- May train and mentors students from Radiation Therapy Technology Programs. Provides feedback and assessments as required.
- Schedules patients for simulation and treatment procedures, often coordinating with other department schedules and patient appointments.

A large CPG client of ours is looking for a research scientist to join their team for a contract opportunity. This role will fall into Clinical & Scientific Affairs and will support ongoing sun care and skin care research by conducting hands-on in vitro testing, including Hybrid Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (HDRS), an advanced optical method (ISO 23698) used to evaluate sunscreen performance and skin photoprotection, along with other photobiology methods. This laboratory-based role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career bioengineer or biophysicist seeking experience in optical measurement techniques, clinical study support, and data analysis. Working closely with senior scientists, you will execute HDRS and other in vitro tests, operate and maintain optical instrumentation, prepare and calibrate measurement setups, collect and analyze optical and spectral data using statistical and mathematical tools, and assist with data visualization and scientific documentation. Role:
A high-caliber and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to
support the execution of the NEW clinical trial, a core clinical program advancing
the company's autologous gene therapy. This is a critical role within our growing
Clinical Operations organization.
As a CRA, you will be responsible for making sure clinical trial sites operate in full
compliance with protocol requirements, regulatory standards, and company's
quality expectations, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and data
integrity.
This role is designed for a proactive operator who excels in the operational complexities
associated with advanced therapeutic modalities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-
paced startup environment where precision, strong site partnerships, and early
identification of operational risks are essential to successful trial execution.
By overseeing day-to-day site monitoring activities, maintaining inspection-ready
documentation, monitor and verify site compliance with chain-of-identity (COI) and
chain-of-custody (COC) procedures associated with the autologous gene therapy
workflow, and promptly escalate deviations, the CRA plays a vital role in supporting the
successful execution of the NEW study.
Through disciplined site oversight and data quality management, this role enables the
clinical team to generate reliable data and advance company's clinical development
efforts.

o Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring (on‐site and remote), and

Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or related field

Experience:
o 3+ years of clinical monitoring experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO

o Experience with cell therapy, gene therapy, oncology, or rare disease trials
preferred.
o Experience coordinating complex clinical logistics or centralized
manufacturing models is a plus.
