Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a microbiology Lab Tech II based in Nampa. The microbiology Lab Tech II supports the plant by promptly plating and reading samples all throughout the cheese-making process in a high-volume environment while maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked lab.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

* Pick up samples at various locations throughout the plant and sort them for plating.

* Prepare samples for plating: weighing, diluting, stomaching, heating, etc.

* Prepare media: buffer, agar, broth, etc.

* Perform various plating methods: petrifilm, filtration, pour plate, direct plate, streaking, MPN.

* Read and accurately record various types of plates.

* Data entry: samples plated, tests performed, record results in various spreadsheets

* Communicate results to plant management via email, phone, face to face.

* Quality checks: temperatures on various equipment, autoclave sterilization, media pH, etc.

* Lab cleanup at the end of shift and various cleaning throughout the month.

* Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, assist in the maintenance and repair of the camp's buildings, grounds, equipment and other facilities consistent with the mission and established policies and procedures of the camp.

Maintenance workers mainly working in minor repairs, facility care, landscaping, set-ups for our guest groups, clean up from our guest groups, etc. They also help in both the housekeeping dept. and guest service dept. as the need is there.

• Maintenance related tasks as directed by the Operations Manager, including but not limited to the following:
• Trash Runs, Clean and Set-up rooms, Move furniture & sound equipment.
• Mop Floors, Clean bathrooms, unclog Toilets.
• Build Campfires, clean campfire pit, cut and stack Firewood
• Landscaping mowing lawns, leaf blowing, weed whacking, sprinkler repairs, tree trimming, etc.
• Minor repairs plumbing, building, equipment, facilities, etc
• Operate some equipment such as mower and wood splitter, in safe and efficient manner.
• At times, help the guest services dept. with hosting groups
• At times, assist with housekeeping duties to ensure the property is ready for guest groups.
• Be aware and make necessary changes to hazards found on campgrounds.
• Perform all duties in accordance with camp policy and procedures, risk management guidelines, and American Camp Association accreditation standards.
• Assist with emergencies as needed.
• Assist with other tasks needed at camp.

May be asked to use a variety of equipment such as lawn mower, weed eaters, saws, ladders, pressure washer, non-power shop tools, etc. Might be asked to drive Golf Carts or Gators.

• Must be at least 18 years old of age.

Ability to understand and implement safety regulations and procedures. Willing to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours. Operate with daily exposure to the sun and heat and other environmental conditions.

Interviewing patients to accurately complete the Medicare Secondary Payer (MSPQ) questionnaire for all Medicare patients. Uses RTE (Real Time Eligibility), Phreesia or payer websites to verify patients' insurance coverage and benefits including patient's out of pocket liability. Ensures proper referral and authorizations are on file as needed. Completes all activities with adherence to departmental and institutional protocols. Assures regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Achieves individual and team performance metrics. Communicates and collects out-of-pocket liability from patients at the time of service. Rotates assignment to all points of service areas within Patient Access (Outpatient Registration and Emergency Department).

Proficient with computer and Microsoft Office skills and familiar with healthcare EHR applications i.e. EPIC, Cerner. Knowledge of medical terminology and/or third-party insurance coverage including managed care plans. Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Meticulous attention to detail.

Required High School Diploma or GED, Associates degree in healthcare or business administration preferred AND Emergency Department: Minimum 3 years experience in hospital, physician practice, or other related healthcare environment customer service. Prior registration experience in Emergency Dept preferred. Current Jefferson Seamless Access Representatives with a minimum of 1 year of experience will be considered as meeting the experience requirement.

Salary Range $17.00 to $21.89 The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
