Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in facility production equipment, identifying root causes and engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.
  
• Design and implement improvements to electrical control systems to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime.
  
• Develop and oversee preventive programs based on engineering analysis to enhance overall equipment performance.
  
• Ensure all electrical systems and components comply with relevant safety regulations and electrical codes.
  
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation to guide system diagnostics and upgrades.
  
• Program and configure Allen Bradley hardware, software, and drives for production automation and process control.
  
• Lead technical projects, including the installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate, install electrical systems and perform functional testing of building and plant equipment (e.g., machines, motor controls, room re-models)

• Determine if system should be shut down or work must be performed with power source on

• Lock out, tag out, try out equipment and related systems

• Perform primary and secondary testing on electrical breakers during routine maintenance; replace, update and retro fit breakers

• Perform routine tests on high voltage switches and relays, using hi-potential test equipment (Hipot), replace switch or relay

• Troubleshoot electric motors using appropriate test equipment

• Monitor current, voltage, amperage, frequency and watts hours at sub-stations using online computing system

• Check and service electrical systems, using infrared analysis sheets to locate hot spots in service panel

• Service and maintain electrical systems on various types of overhead cranes

• Operate, install electrical systems and perform functional test of building and plant equipment (e.g., machines, motor controls, room re-models)

• Install and perform routine maintenance on all types of lighting fixtures (e.g., fluorescent, halide, standard); clean and check sockets, and replace ballast and bulbs

• Run high voltage electrical cable from sub-station to unit station; cut and splice cable, test cable for resistance

• Install, replace and repair fiber optic cable for computers and computing systems

• Bend conduit and install junction boxes; pull wire of various gauge and color through conduit using a fish tape; install and connect switches and outlets

• Check work after completion or after each operation; ensure job is per drawing and WAC, NEC codes; evaluate job for work to be performed (e.g., wire size, electrical load, conduit)

• Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. tiger lift, spider lift, snorkel lift), to access work areas

• Install wire, crimp, terminate, and solder using tools (e.g., crimpers, wire cutters, soldering gun) in plant electrical systems

• Establish/verify voltage, amperage, frequency and watts using test equipment (e.g., circuit trackers, sonic circuit chasers, volt, amperage meters)

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

• Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

As the EVSE Reliability Electrician, you will be on the front lines, performing critical break/fix services for EV charging stations facing communication, software, electrical, or technical malfunctions. Your electrical expertise will ensure these systems are not only functional but also pristine, code-compliant, and operating within their designed specifications through thorough inspections and skilled electrical work. You'll report to the Field Service Manager and receive specialized training to become a specialist in maintaining the backbone of electric mobility. Traveling is necessary for this position.

You are a detail-oriented and safety-conscious licensed electrician with a strong understanding of electrical theory, NEC standards, and practical field application. You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and you possess excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills specifically related to electrical systems. You take pride in your workmanship and are committed to upholding the highest safety and quality standards in every task. Leveraging your proven experience in field service operations as an electrician, you will utilize your excellent written and oral communication skills to report work orders. Grounding and Bonding: Capable of installing compliant grounding systems for EVSE units and subpanels.

Testing and Commissioning: Use of electrical testing tools (multimeter, insulation resistance testers, etc.) for system validation and diagnostics.

Low Voltage & Networking: Basic understanding of CAT5e/CAT6 wiring, RS-485, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and cellular connections for smart chargers.

Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix power delivery issues, GFCI trips, communication faults, and firmware errors using test equipment and software.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Unionized Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of building and equipment maintenance duties, including electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance work such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing. In addition to performing maintenance tasks, the role includes leading and coordinating a group of employees to ensure maximum productivity, maintaining a clean and safe work area, ordering materials and supplies, and training other employees.

Essential Functions:

• Perform a wide range of building and equipment maintenance duties.
• Normally performs electrical and mechanical trades, but not restricted from performing duties or combinations of duties usually identified with other crafts.
• Observe equipment in operation or operates equipment if possible, to determine cause of trouble.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs electro-mechanical equipment and fixtures and allied apparatus as directed.
• Works from blueprints, schematics, or instructions and under a minimum of supervision and direction.
• May participate in rearrangement of physical facilities.
• May perform other general maintenance work such as but limited too carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.
• Performs all duties in the occupation the employee leads.
• Assigns, directs and coordinates the work performed by a group of employees in accordance with oral or written instructions given by the supervisor.
• Leads and coordinates the group of employees in the performance of work to insure maximum productivity.
• Orders material and supplies required to maintain the manufacturing and base building equipment.

Qualifications:

• Able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' experience related to the role and responsibilities of the position
• CFCR Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Ability to navigate and enter data into a CMMS system. (Work order System)
• Ability to monitor, interact and adjust as needed with Building Management System.
• Ability to navigate and work on a computer for email, ordering, training, etc. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word preferred.
• Must be able to stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time
• Ability to operate an Electric Pallet Jack
• Adhere to all safety requirements

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Johnson Controls Metasys knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of local codes and standards, I.E. Fire, Electrical, HVAC, General Building Standards

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $61,000 - $70,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Unload trucks of all incoming shipments to the distribution center

Open and unpack all shipments received

Complete inventory count and quality control checks for all incoming shipments including examining for theft and/or damage

Match incoming inventory to invoices and packing slips for proper size, quantity, color, style etc.

Ensure boxes are bar-coded / labeled correctly

Stock shelves with new inventory

Perform all other functions as required

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Previous distribution center or shipping experience is preferred

Basic computer skills preferred

Able to learn to operate wave machine, hi-lo machine, power jack, and electric lift

What You’ll Do:

• All aspects of control system installation, from control panel assembly, field wiring, machine installations, machine troubleshooting, and general electrical services.
• Installing machines and making the process adjustments both mechanically and electrically for efficient operation.
• Servicing existing machines at customer’s facilities. Implementing upgrades and improving running efficiency.

What You’ll Need:

• An Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year technical school in Electro Mechanical or related degree; Exposure to courses in Programming/PLC Logic or more than 5 years hands on experience with Optima pharma equipment.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with industrial machines.
• SAP experience ideal.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
• Ability to deal with experienced, multidisciplinary, technical specialists
• Ability to coordinate small to large projects independently
• Ability to download PLC, HMI, and drive programs. Ability to work with controls engineers to identify and improve machine programs.
• Significant electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques, and codes. Comfortable reading and following IEC electrical diagrams.
• Thorough working knowledge of industrial controls devices including photo-electric sensors, proximity switches, solenoid valves, frequency and servo drives, and PLC I/O.
• Experience in executing change control and good understanding of data integrity 21CFRp11.
• Ability to tune PID loops and perform loop check as in commissioning.
• GMP/GDP Automation experience preferred.
• Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC (Control Logix and Compact Logix) and HMI experience a plus.
