The Role
As Director of Execution, you will serve as the operational integrator of the company. You will translate the CEO’s long-term vision into structured daily, weekly, and milestone-based execution across the team.
You will own the company-wide task orchestration system, maintain delivery cadence, and ensure alignment between roadmap milestones and daily output.
Responsibilities
- Meet daily with the CEO to align on product vision and priority decisions
- Translate long-term strategy into structured task flows for each team member
- Maintain defined deliverables, ownership, and accountability
- Oversee cross-functional delivery across engineering, art, and design pipelines
- Protect deep work by acting as the operational firewall for leadership
- Manage all incoming tasks, ideas, and blockers; integrate them into the execution system
- Maintain and own the master operational board and project tracking framework
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous operational improvement
Requirements
- Located within commuting distance of downtown Austin, Texas
- Hands-on execution experience within a 3D character development pipeline, real-time production environment, or video game workflow
- Strong understanding of character rigging and 3D asset pipelines
- Experience managing full asset lifecycle: concept → modeling → rigging → integration → iteration → release
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable operating in a high-accountability, fast-moving startup environment
- Able to pass reference and background checks

Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Execution
- Manage purchase orders, production schedules, and day-to-day communication with co-manufacturers and suppliers
- Track production timelines and escalate risks or delays proactively
Inventory & Fulfillment
- Maintain accurate inventory levels across 3PLs and warehouses
- Monitor inventory movement, aging, shortages, and discrepancies
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support retail, wholesale, and DTC fulfillment
Logistics & 3PL Management
- Serve as the primary operational contact for 3PLs
- Manage freight coordination, delivery tracking, and issue resolution
- Ensure SLAs, routing guides, and operational requirements are followed
Operational Reporting
- Prepare and maintain weekly operational reports (inventory, fill rates, OTIF, production status)
- Flag risks, constraints, and execution gaps with recommended actions
- Support month-end inventory and COGS reconciliation in partnership with finance
Process & Systems Support
- Document and maintain SOPs for core operational workflows
- Support ERP, inventory system, and EDI execution (transactions, accuracy, data hygiene)
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience to support promotions, launches, and customer needs
- Support new SKU launches from an execution and readiness standpoint
- Assist with audits, compliance documentation, and vendor setup
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of operations, supply chain, or logistics experience (CPG required)
- Experience working with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and 3PLs
- Strong execution, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Comfortable operating within defined plans while managing day-to-day variability
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; ERP experience required, Netsuite preferred
- Experience supporting EDI execution in a CPG or retail environment
Job Description:
- Provide support to NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) Submarine Ship Building (SHAPM) Program Offices and supporting organizations: PMS 397 - COLUMBIA Class Submarine Program Office, PMS 450 - VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program Office, PMS 351 - Future Attack Submarine (SSN(X)) Program Office, and SEA 05Z - Marine Engineering Competency Domain.
- TEAM SUB is a combination of Program Executive Office (PEO) Strategic Submarine (PEO SSBN), PEO Attack Submarines (PEO SSN), and PEO Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS) and the Direct Reporting Program Office, AUKUS Integration & Acquisition Office (AUKUS). The TEAM SUB concept divides the single submarine-centric organization into specific PEOs with the goal of enhancing the structures and processes in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities.
Required Skills and Experience:
Capable of performing the following functions:
- Provide daily analytical and program management support to senior level executives.
- Oversee event preparation and correspondence support for key industry events, supporting change/transformation efforts (i.e., Gap analysis, stakeholder interviews, situational reports, etc.) for large programs.
- Coordinate responses to technical specification and guidance documents related to credentialing and identity management.
- Provide statistical (descriptive) analysis as required and ad hoc reporting to senior officials as required.
- Lead small and medium sized projects as required.
- Typical Experience: 10 years professional experience in operations support.
- Desired: Min of 10 yrs experience with DOD acquisition / In-Service Programs.
- Desired: Min of 10 yrs experience with Navy Programs.
- Desired: Must be capable of leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
- Desired: Minimum of 5 years experience working with submarine/combat systems.
Degree Requirements:
- Preferred: BS/BA Degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- A secret security clearance
