What You Will Do

• Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Participate in internal review of software components and systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and performance of CAE, Simulation, FEA, Stability, and Structural Analysis tools that support validation of new and existing vehicles, systems, and components. Manage a team of engineers, guide technical decision‑making, and contribute directly to engineering solutions when needed. Reports to the Director or Senior Manager of Component Development.

• Product and Technology Champion - Lead development of new products and structural systems, approving technical solutions and driving innovation. Identify emerging technologies and competitive trends; recommend product, process, and tool improvements. Support Current Product Engineering, Service, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and Product Safety on issues related to masts, attachments, durability, and stability. Minimum Qualifications:

• Skilled in finite element analysis (FEA), computer aided design (CAD), 3-D modeling, and simulation software; preferably Nastran, FEMAP, Simcenter, and NX CAD
• Good written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel occasionally with overnight stays (0-5%)
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation to travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday
• Ability to learn operation of lift trucks
