In this role, you will play a critical part in electrical documentation, panel fabrication support, and system integration activities for a complex LPBF (laser powder bed fusion) 3D printer environment. • Align and adjust the silk screen to achieve proper contact and registration, applying paint using the squeegee method.
• Layout, locate, and apply lettering on various instrument panels using silk screening and related processes.
• Liaise with the Decal Area and other departments to coordinate changes, distribution of decals, and maintain perpetual inventory.

• Familiarity with circuit simulator SIMPLIS, Saber and/or analysis tool Mathcad. 

• Experience with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, and/or Hyperlynx. 

• Experience with acting as a liaison between program and functional management. 

• Experience with digital power control. 

• Experience with military specifications. 

• Experience with transformer and inductor design considerations. 

• Design experience with Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) concerns. 

• Design experience with voltages > 400V and/or power > 10kW. 

• Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value. 

• Experience with proposal development. 

• Ability to design to meet concerns of adjacent disciplines, such as thermal, structural, mechanical, reliability, and quality. 

• Ability to be a self-starter and be able to function in a dynamic environment. 

• Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
