Role Overview

North American Fire Protection is seeking an experiencedΒ Fire Sprinkler Sales RepresentativeΒ to support and grow our Florida operations.Β This role is responsible for driving revenue acrossΒ new construction projects and inspection/service (ITM) work within a defined regional territory. The ideal candidate understands both theΒ technical side of fire sprinkler systems and the business side of construction sales.Β This position is ideal for a professional who can confidently manage theΒ full sales cycleβ€”from identifying opportunities to estimating, proposal development, closing, and successful project handoff.


Key Responsibilities

β€’ Develop and manage a sales territory within aΒ 100-mile radius of Palm CoastΒ (Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, Orlando)

β€’ Identify and pursueΒ new construction and inspection/service opportunities

β€’ Prepare accurateΒ estimates, material take-offs and proposalsΒ for fire sprinkler systems

  • Position Summary:
    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Alarm Technician with extensive field experience in installation, service, inspection, and troubleshooting of commercial fire alarm systems. This is a critical role in supporting our life safety systems division. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has a deep understanding of NFPA codes, wiring methods, and system programming.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, service, and maintain fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional)
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of fire alarm equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Program and commission fire alarm systems from leading manufacturers (e.g., Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, Notifier, EST, etc.)
  • Perform NFPA 72 inspections and generate accurate inspection reports
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire codes and regulations
  • Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and AHJs as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience with fire alarm systems (commercial focus)
  • NICET Level II (minimum) in Fire Alarm Systems required; Level III or IV preferred
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable fire codes
  • Ability to use test equipment (multimeters, loop testers, etc.)
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring fire alarm control panels
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other low-voltage systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion) a plus

Responsible for inspection, installation, and repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge and Foam systems; Testing, rebuilding and/or replacing Backflow Preventers. Responsible for identifying trouble areas and performing service in an efficient and professional manner to ensure that sprinkler systems are operating properly. Responsibilities include:


Sprinkler and Backflow Systems Installation, Repair, & Service:

  • Prepare jobsite, performing visual inspection of system, disabling horn & strobes, and alerting alarm company and fire department.
  • Install/hang sprinkler systems and their components per NFPA and engineering guidelines.
  • Install or replace wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems as needed.
  • Repair and/or replace all sprinkler systems components.


Repair, replace and rebuild backflow preventers as necessary.

  • Verify proper communication with monitoring station when working on a monitored system after repair.

  • Massachusetts Fire Sprinkler Journeyman License
  • 1-3 years field experience in Sprinkler and Backflow systems service.
  • Fire and /or Life Safety Systems experience.
  • Must have or be able & willing to attain state Sprinkler and/or Backflow Licenses.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to visually inspect and service sprinkler and backflow systems.
  • Must be able to recognize alarm sights and sounds.
  • Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes.
  • May require ability to effectively use a Sprinkler Pipe Threader.

We are seeking a driven Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Sales Representative to grow our fire alarm and life safety business within a defined territory. This role focuses on developing new accounts and expanding existing relationships by delivering compliant, high-value fire and low-voltage solutions.
You'll work with commercial clients across industries including healthcare, multifamily housing, hospitality, municipal, and institutional facilitiesβ€”helping them stay safe, compliant, and operational.

What You'll Do

* Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities for fire alarm systems, inspections, monitoring, and service agreements
* Manage the full sales cycleβ€”from initial outreach and site visits to proposal development and closing
* Sell system upgrades, inspections, and recurring service contracts (monitoring, testing, maintenance)
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active opportunities to support sales targets
* Develop long-term relationships with contractors, facility managers, and end users
* Deliver professional proposals and presentations that clearly define customer challenges and compliant solutions
* Collaborate with internal teams to support project execution and customer success
* Maintain accurate customer data and sales activity within company systems

What We're Looking For

* 2+ years of B2B sales experience in fire alarm, low voltage, electrical, or related industries
* Working knowledge of fire alarm systems, monitoring, suppression, or life safety solutions
* Experience calling on contractors, engineers, or facility decision-makers
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications
* Strong prospecting, pipeline management, and closing skills
* Confident communicator with effective presentation abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Preferred:

* NICET Level II certification

Job Summary

The Fire Suppression Sales Representative – Austin Region is responsible for driving Fire Services sales, Installation and deficiencies to grow our Business Production in the Austin Region. In this role, the position will be responsible for prospecting for New Logos in Fire Services Sales and well as partnering with Regional Sales Reps to Cross -Sell and Upsell existing clients who need our services. This role will identify Strategic Sales opportunities and Mid-Market Commercial accounts, and drive service sales for new and existing clients. This is a critical role for Fire Services proliferation with existing & new accounts, and major customers in this market.


Responsibilities:

Β· Help promote a culture of teamwork and Cross-Sell, collaborate with Regional Managers and Sales Rep, as well as working closely with Operations

Β· Drive Fire Services and RMR in Cross Selling and support RapidFire Total Solutions strategic approach to existing and new clientele.

Β· Be the Subject Matter Expert in selling and delivering Fire services RMR through a consultative approach.

Β· Primarily focused on sales in the Mid-Commercial area, with a mix of existing and new client growth and the expansion in Sales and Operations in emerging branches.
