Summary of Position (Job Purpose) - Major purpose and functions of the position.

We are seeking an experienced Retail Engineer to join our team and help us drive process improvement and efficiency across our retail stores. The Retail Engineer - Store Operations’ primary responsibilities are to update and maintain our engineered labor standards platform. In addition, identify and analyze key metric data alongside current store operational processes to support workload simplification and new initiatives. This job requires problem solving skills and strong analytical capabilities, along with data management and great communication skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance

• Compile and upkeep relevant datasets and information crucial to store operations such as Time Studies, Labor Standards, etc.

• Independent and autonomous management of solar construction projects of various sizes and complexities from pre-construction to project closeout using company processes and procedures resulting in meeting or exceeding planned profits

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

Automation Engineer II has the responsibility and skills to specify, develop, modify, test, troubleshoot, document, and deploy new or existing control system and related software for Ferrotec products, internal scientific research, and to support other goals. Assigned projects will have timeframes ranging from short tasks of a few hours to development efforts on the order of months. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• Specify, develop, modify, test, troubleshoot, document, and deploy new or existing control system and related software for Ferrotec products, internal scientific research, and other company objectives.
• Startup, troubleshoot, and repair existing, new, or upgraded control systems, including soft logic, human/machine interface, wiring, and hard logic. Mark-up schematics, if applicable; document problems and solutions to improve next startup cycle for self and others.
