Key AccountabilitiesTest & Measurement Engineering
- Define requirements for custom fixturing for workshop and rig-based tests.
- Characterize vehicle hardware through scanning, dimensional, and inertial measurements.
- Specify instrumentation, analyze data, and produce clear reports.
- Lead and execute chassis rig and workshop tests for mechanical subsystems.
- Innovate new testing methods for track and rig environments.
- Collaborate with designers, electronics teams, and suppliers on test equipment.
Chassis Mechanical & Structural Reliability
- Investigate and report chassis failures using data, photography, and lab analysis.
- Analyze onboard and static data to identify root causes.
- Document and present problem reports; track and resolve issues.

- Apply novel instrumentation techniques for failure mode characterization.
Chassis Mechanical & Structural Development
- Support race workshop assembly measurements and adjustments.
- Validate performance effects of chassis developments using logged data.

- Lead design and hardware development for subsystem validation.
Technical Mentorship
- Provide design input for chassis and powertrain integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and supervise daily work.

Requires:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years in design, development, and testing of high-performance motorsport vehicles (race cars and track-focused road cars).
Hands-on expertise with mechanical and electronic systems: suspension, brakes, steering, bodywork, transmission, and powertrain.
Skilled in coordinating design and development activities, including scheduling and issue resolution.
Proficient in CAD for race car component modeling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating design changes.
Data analysis using MATLAB or Python (signal processing, visualization).

Mechanical Design Engineer – ADAS Hardware Packaging
Description :
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering and strong experience in automotive product development. The candidate must have either a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
The role focuses on the mechanical design and packaging of hardware components supporting automotive ADAS systems. This includes developing mechanical parts such as housings, mounting brackets and structural supports for vision systems, radar, safety sensors and related control units from initial concept through mass production.
The engineer will be responsible for full product development activities including design feasibility studies, cost analysis, strength calculations, part construction and specification definition, while coordinating prototyping, fabrication and manufacturing activities.
The position requires strong expertise in Catia V5 & V6 (including VPM Navi) along with advanced surfacing, meshing, FEA, sheet metal design, CAE, draft analysis and digital mockup (SPA). Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal forming, stamping, welding, injection molding and process control is required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong engineering capabilities in tolerance stack-up and part design optimization (function, cost and weight), along with strong project management and leadership skills to manage multiple projects and achieve technical objectives.

Job Purpose:
As a Principal CAE Engineer in the Advanced CAE Department, you will be responsible to lead a project or team for CAE model and method creation related to structural based CAE for strength and reliability. Proficient use and understanding of CAE methods contributes to improved optimization, speed, and efficiency of our products and development processes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and provide technical guidance for a team(s) or project(s) to develop and validate new CAE methods for both specification setting and product verification.
- Develops and evaluates metrics for quality of modeling and analysis.
- Assist in setting the plan for the technical direction of CAE methods development
- Collaborate with principal test and principal design engineers to ensure CAE models are achieving accuracy targets.
- Collaborate with other principal engineers to ensure the CAE methods are meeting the requirements for application to development projects.
- Create documentation for the registration of CAE Models as a verified tool for specification setting and product verification.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- BS in mechanical engineering. Advanced degree preferred

- Expertise with software such as Simulia’s MODSIM, Abaqus, Optistruct, and Ansa. Also expertise with programming language software such as Matlab, Python, and Excel VBA.
- Expertise with creation of new CAE Models/Methods and performing verification and validation.

Job PurposeAs a Senior Materials Engineer, the associate works independently and with diverse research and design/development teams in performing a full range of materials research, R-Theme project and work request activities relevant to departmental and organizational needs including Technical Pre-Investigation (TPI) research/summary, R-Theme project management/support, material specification development, new supplier qualification, parts failure analysis/testing, patent creation/submission, new technologies research, summary and reporting and test development/execution. Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Job Purpose
Support the NA regional Manufacturing Execution System (MES) as a business system expert by supporting the development and direction of system strategy, standardization, and diffusion across all North American manufacturing plants, ensuring robust, repeatable, and controlled processes are in place to maximize business value and support plant characteristics enhancement.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the development and implementation of strategies, including plans & targets, to standardize and improve the business operating capabilities of the MES for the region
- Lead mid-sized projects/themes of varied complexity and scope through collaboration with team (plant, IT, regional engineering), including current system enhancements and feasibility studies for future products
- Work effectively with local plant departments and regional IT to ensure system standards are created, documented, and sustained
- Complete testing, verification, and documentation of system changes. Confirm system requirements are met during appropriate UAT timing and ensure countermeasure application on the system before change release
- Participate in the development of a standard training program for system use and deliver it when required
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree related to process, manufacturing management, industrial or systems engineering, or other equivalent degree and/or experience
- 5+ years of experience in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Systems with a focus on the automotive industry w/ Bachelor’s degree or 11+ years of experience with relevant responsibilities w/ HS diploma
- Systems technology experience, knowledge of process engineering, business analysis skills, project management, process project design & implementation, change management, MS Office. Knowledge of QICS is a plus, but not required

Job PurposeLead North American region process standardization as the business expert by creating and directing the process development strategy and diffusion across all North American manufacturing plants ensuring robust, repeatable, and controlled methods are in place to maximize business value and support plant characteristics enhancement.
Key Accountabilities- Drive the development and implementation of process design strategies and standards including plans & targets to improve the business operating capabilities for the region.
- Lead regional sustainment initiatives by analyzing regional process data, identifying gaps to standards, delivering effective proposals to countermeasure.
- Work effectively with local and regional process development and sustainment teams to ensure process standards are created, documented, and sustained.
- Develop methods and tools to ensure process standardization is maintained throughout the manufacturing sites.
- Develop and sustain standard programs for process design and deliver when required.
- Serve as designated system admin alternate. Understand the admin role to support system change management.
- Bachelors degree in engineering/technical areas: industrial, manufacturing, systems, or any other equivalent degree with the required experience
- 5+ years experience in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Systems with a focus on the automotive industry
- Systems technology experience, knowledge of process engineering, business analysis skills, project management, process project design & implementation, change management, MS Office. Thorough understanding of Honda Philosophy and Core Values
- Hybrid position, preferred Ohio site
- 90% office, 10% production floor (go to the spot)

Job Purpose- The incumbent will focus on integrating AI models and applications into high-performance computing (HPC) desktop environments to support prototyping and simulation activities.
- Design, develop, and integrate software applications that enhance engineering workflows, enable advanced data analysis, and support system integration across product development teams.
- AI Integration: Lead teams responsible for the integration of artificial intelligence models and applications into high-performance computing (HPC) desktop
environments to support prototyping and simulation workflows - Toolchain Configuration: Set the direction and manage teams that select, configure, and maintain compilers and toolchains optimized for embedded software platforms.
- Performance Optimization: Benchmark and optimize toolchain performance to ensure efficient and scalable software execution.
- Debugging & Analysis: Lead teams that perform low-level code analysis and debugging to enhance system reliability and performance. Evaluate the effectiveness
and results of these efforts. - Technology Evaluation: Continuously assess emerging technologies and development tools to improve application performance, usability, and maintainability and lead the deployment of those technologies and tools within the organization.
- Software Lifecycle Support: Set the direction and manage teams that perform version control, configuration management, and deployment processes to ensure
consistency and traceability across development cycles.
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience

- Proficiency with industry-standard compilers and toolchains, including NVIDIA HDC SDK, gcc, C programming lang /LLVM
- IDEs: Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Renesas
- Experience with build systems such as CMake, Make, and Bazel.
- Familiarity with static analysis tools like Coverity and Polyspace for code quality and safety assurance.
- Strong understanding of embedded architectures, on any of these uPs, e.g. - ARM, PowerPC, x86 and RISC-V, SoCs from Qualcomm, Renesas, NVIDIA
- Prior experience with ROS and/or any other RTOS, e.g. embedded Linux, Nucleus RTOS, Zephyr RTOS, QNX etc
- Demonstrated ability to benchmark and analyze toolchain performance for optimization.
- Skilled in low-level debugging and code analysis to support system reliability and performance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, clarify responsibilities, and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Track record of innovation and problem-solving in complex technical environments.Ability to build and leverage cross-functional networks to gain alignment and drive collaborative success.
- 4 days per workweek at the local Honda office. One remote workday per week.
