TITLE: EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

REPORTS TO: EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGER
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and performing the repair and preventative maintenance of all industrial tools and tool sets in the wafer fab, including assisting with tool selection, qualification, and optimization on an assigned shift; analyzing various types of data and preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports; and reviewing and modifying Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI’s) to ensure data remains current. This position is located in Milpitas, California.
*Must be willing to train on F shift (Friday thru Sunday and every other Thursday from 12:00 PM-12:00 AM) for a minimum of two months before moving to assigned shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervises, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the department; makes employment-related decisions as necessary, including hiring and terminations
- Oversees and performs the repair and preventative maintenance of all industrial tools and tools sets in the wafer fab
- Supervisors are required to be physically on-site to perform the essential functions of this position, including making oneself available to employees, peers, and managers as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor works in an indoor environment on a rotating schedule on D shift which is Friday thru Sunday and every other Thursday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility; wears a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask. Stands and walks, bends, twists, and crawls; This position requires the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to work on-site during their scheduled shift. 1.Role Summary:
Support day-to-day lab operations for liquid cooling/thermal management systems used in AI, HPC, and hyperscale data centers. Maintain safe and reliable lab systems, and assist engineers with build, test, and validation work.

3.Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain liquid cooling lab equipment and infrastructure.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Assemble/modify test setups, fixtures, and prototypes for performance testing.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain sensors/instrumentation (temp/flow/pressure/power/leak).
- Perform preventive & corrective maintenance; monitor performance and support root-cause analysis.
- Enforce lab safety (electrical safety, fluid handling, PPE, emergency procedures).
- Maintain logs, calibration records, test documentation, and SOPs; manage tools/spares/consumables.
- Support engineers, customer visits/demos; coordinate with suppliers for service/installation/upgrades.
4.Required Qualifications
- Degree/certification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical/fluid-based systems; able to follow drawings/schematics/SOPs.
- Familiar with basic instrumentation and measurement tools; strong safety and operational discipline.
- Clear communication; comfortable working in a hands-on team environment.
- Must have a valid California electrical certification/license suitable for lab/industrial electrical work (e.g., CA General Electrician Certification DIR/CSLB or equivalent).
Preferred
Thermal/HVAC/data center lab background; familiarity with pumps/valves/heat exchangers/CDUs; basic PLC; validation/reliability testing; ASHRAE awareness; forklift/electrical/lab safety certs.

Job Title : Validation Technician

Duration : 7 Months
Pay Range: $58/hr - $62/hr on W2 (without benefits), the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Setup and run semiconductor automated testing equipment. Ensure operational documents and quantity reports are accurate, complete and timely for each operation.
• Work closely with Marvell Test, Product and Equipment teams to ensure setups are properly completed.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and if needed the ability to properly communicate with other support personnel to resolve the issue.
• Meet test priority and on-time goals.
• Work cohesively with other team members and assist to achieve testing objectives.
• Be proactive in identifying issues and resolving them quickly to satisfy productions objectives and customer needs.
• Calculate test yield and troubleshoot routine tester issues.
• 100% manufacturing environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Certification from a qualified vocational/technical school or 3 years of equivalent experience in the semiconductor industry and has developed specialized knowledge and skills in this area.
• Team focused and can work with little or no supervision; interacts with peers and internal support personnel to coordinate work.
• Hands-on experience in running semiconductor test equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Able to push, pull and/or lift 30 lbs. equipment/package parts.
• Hands on trouble shooting skills with tester, handlers, thermal control systems.
• Good Excel skills.
• Good email, communication and written skills.
• This is an hourly position that requires the flexibility to work additional hours if necessary to complete critical goals. Must be able to meet shift schedule as stated on posting.
Preferred/Plus:
• Semiconductor Test floor experience.
• Experience working on the following equipment Testers: Advantest 93K, Teradyne Uflex, Handlers: Hontech, SeikoEpson, Chroma, Probers: TEL, Semics
- Candidates with hands on test floor experience is that focus should be on with experience of setting up and troubleshooting test hardware setups.
- This role will cover the 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday - Friday schedule but may also require additional working hours depending on the workload as well as engineering teams needs.
