1.Role Summary:

Support day-to-day lab operations for liquid cooling/thermal management systems used in AI, HPC, and hyperscale data centers. Maintain safe and reliable lab systems, and assist engineers with build, test, and validation work.

3.Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain liquid cooling lab equipment and infrastructure.
  • Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Assemble/modify test setups, fixtures, and prototypes for performance testing.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain sensors/instrumentation (temp/flow/pressure/power/leak).
  • Perform preventive & corrective maintenance; monitor performance and support root-cause analysis.
  • Enforce lab safety (electrical safety, fluid handling, PPE, emergency procedures).
  • Maintain logs, calibration records, test documentation, and SOPs; manage tools/spares/consumables.
  • Support engineers, customer visits/demos; coordinate with suppliers for service/installation/upgrades.


4.Required Qualifications

  • Degree/certification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical/fluid-based systems; able to follow drawings/schematics/SOPs.
  • Familiar with basic instrumentation and measurement tools; strong safety and operational discipline.
  • Clear communication; comfortable working in a hands-on team environment.
  • Must have a valid California electrical certification/license suitable for lab/industrial electrical work (e.g., CA General Electrician Certification DIR/CSLB or equivalent).


Preferred

Thermal/HVAC/data center lab background; familiarity with pumps/valves/heat exchangers/CDUs; basic PLC; validation/reliability testing; ASHRAE awareness; forklift/electrical/lab safety certs.

1.Role Summary:

Join a fast-growing global thermal management company building next-generation liquid cooling solutions for AI/HPC & hyperscale data centers. You will lead thermal design, simulation, and hands-on validationβ€”turning advanced concepts into production-ready systems deployed in real data center environments.


2.What You’ll Do:

  • Design and develop liquid cooling architectures for AI and high-power-density servers.
  • Lead CFD thermal-fluid simulation/modeling to optimize flow distribution, pressure drop, and heat transfer.
  • Plan and execute lab + rack-level + field thermal performance testing (reliability, leak detection, long-term validation).
  • Collaborate with customers/data center operators/suppliers to define requirements and ensure successful integration.
  • Evaluate coolant chemistry, material compatibility, and corrosion control strategies.
  • Lead FMEA / risk analysis for thermal systems and key components.
  • Explore new technologies and sustainability metrics (PUE/WUE) to support roadmap and global deployments.


3.What We’re Looking For (Required):

  • PhD in Thermal/Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field).
  • Strong expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermal system design.
  • Proven experience developing liquid cooling systems for electronics/servers/data centers.
  • Hands-on proficiency with CFD tools (ANSYS Fluent/Icepak/Star-CCM+ or equivalent).
  • Hands-on lab experience with thermal testing, instrumentation, and validation.
  • Strong technical communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally and customer-facing.

Nice to Have:

  • Production experience with liquid cooling deployments.
  • Familiarity with AI/GPU platforms, high-density racks, hyperscale infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of OCP standards / ASHRAE liquid cooling guidelines / compliance requirements.
  • Experience with sustainability-driven thermal optimization (PUE/WUE, energy efficiency).
