The Director of Project Management leads enterprise project strategy, governance, and execution. This role ensures alignment of strategic initiatives with business objectives and drives consistent, on-time, on-budget project delivery. The Director establishes standardized processes, reporting structures, and performance metrics to mitigate risk, maximize ROI, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Portfolio Leadership

Define and execute enterprise project management strategy.


Align project portfolios with corporate priorities.


Oversee portfolio health, risks, dependencies, and escalations.


Provide executive-level reporting and performance visibility.


Governance & Process

Establish and maintain SOPs for project intake, prioritization, and team assignment.


Implement dashboards and standardized reporting frameworks.


Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.


Financial & Resource Management

Oversee multimillion-dollar project budgets and forecasting.


Drive cost control and financial accountability.


Optimize resource planning across departments.


Stakeholder & Team Leadership

Deliver weekly updates to executive and board stakeholders.


Lead, mentor, and develop Project Management Team Leads.


Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).


10+ years of project/program management experience.


5+ years in senior PM leadership.


Strong financial acumen and executive communication skills.


Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
