Qualifications:

Education/Licensure:

• Forecasts and projects facility trends and needs. Works with the facility management team to develop a workplan to achieve positive outcomes.
• Plans, designs, integrates, and coordinates services provided by the long-term care facility.
• Projects costs and works within the facilities’ operating budget.
• Organizes facility structure: plans, directs, and supervises operations.
• Staffs according to the needs of the facility and its residents.
• Interprets and analyzes federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations to assure compliance. Provides direction to staff through communication and education.
• Sets facility goals and expectations.
• Controls quality and takes necessary corrective actions to achieve facility goals.
• Develops and delivers necessary policies, procedures and action plans.

This role offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of specialized imaging in a mission-driven, professional environment.

Position Overview

• Location: Syracuse, NY (On-site)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Type: Federal Contract (Full-Time)
• Caseload: 8–15 cases per day
• Call: Subject to after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call/call-back requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Imaging: Perform routine and specialized studies, including abdominal, small parts, pelvic, scrotal, and chest ultrasounds.
• Vascular Expertise: Conduct critical vascular studies (Carotid, DVT studies, ABI, and Renal Artery Dopplers).
• Invasive Support: Provide ultrasound guidance for needle aspirations and fluid drainages using strict sterile techniques.
• Independent Analysis: Differentiate between normal and pathologic findings; provide preliminary evaluations to Radiologists and Physicians.
• Bedside Care: Perform portable examinations in ICUs and other emergency units as required.
• Technology: Utilize Phillips EPIQ 7/5 equipment and manage images within PACS and CPRS/VistA.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a clinical setting (VA experience preferred).
• Certification: Must hold a current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certificate.
• Specialty Designations: RDMS must be in Abdomen, Breast, and/or OB/GYN.
• Life Support: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Licensure: Full and unrestricted license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
• Equipment: Proficiency with Phillips EPIQ 7 or EPIQ 5 systems.
• Skills: Strong expertise in both general and vascular imaging (including vein mapping).

The firm operates at the intersection of asset management, investment oversight, and strategic advisory, partnering closely with ownership groups, lenders, and institutional stakeholders.

Led by seasoned real estate principals with deep experience across office, retail, mixed-use, and other asset classes, the organization combines institutional discipline with an agile, high-accountability culture.

This is a remote position with a preference for candidates within commuting distance to New York City for periodic in-person collaboration.

The Role:

The Controller will serve as a key finance partner supporting portfolio performance, capital oversight, and ownership reporting across a national portfolio.

This is not a traditional property accounting role. Instead, this position bridges property-level financial review with investment-level analysis, debt oversight, and portfolio reporting. The right candidate will be comfortable operating independently, interacting with asset management and capital partners, and strengthening financial processes in a lean environment.

You will work cross-functionally with asset management, third-party property managers, lenders, and external accounting providers to ensure accurate reporting, disciplined cash management, and clear financial visibility across assets.

Responsibilities:

Portfolio & Property Financial Oversight

• Review monthly and quarterly property financial packages prepared by third-party managers
• Analyze operating statements, balance sheets, cash flow, general ledger activity, and variance reporting
• Monitor portfolio-level performance metrics and support business plan tracking
• Identify reporting inconsistencies and partner with property managers to improve accuracy and timeliness

Capital & Debt Management

• Track lender reporting requirements and debt covenant compliance
• Review debt service calculations, reserve activity, and capital expenditure funding
• Support refinancing and recapitalization initiatives, including financial analysis and data coordination
• Assist with capital planning and cash forecasting across assets

Ownership & Investment Reporting

• Support preparation of ownership-level and partnership financial reporting

• Assist in preparing consolidated portfolio reporting for internal and external stakeholders

Process & Infrastructure Enhancement

• Strengthen internal reporting frameworks and financial controls

• Contribute to the development of scalable financial workflows as the platform grows
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support investment and asset-level decision-making

Qualifications:

• 7–10+ years of commercial real estate accounting or portfolio finance experience
• Strong understanding of property-level reporting and ownership/entity structures
• Experience working alongside asset management teams and interfacing with lenders
• Exposure to debt compliance, refinancing, or capital planning initiatives preferred
• Comfortable operating in a lean, high-responsibility environment
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive
• Able to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally

Base Salary: $160k- $180k plus bonus
