Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all process designs meet company, customer, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including SOPs, sanitation procedures, technical manuals, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and applicable food safety and sanitary design standards.
- Support adherence to relevant mechanical, electrical, and safety standards (e.g., ASME, UL, NFPA) as they relate to process systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, and Operations teams.
- Provide process engineering leadership during customer reviews, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities.
- Support Sales and Applications teams during quoting and concept development with process expertise.

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and overseeing the maintenance of production equipment, utilities, facilities, and grounds.
The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader who can manage systems and processes while remaining actively engaged on the floor with their team. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk position — we are looking for someone who can lead by example and step in when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians in both preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Oversee maintenance operations for production equipment, utilities, facilities, and site infrastructure.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Requesting (not required) 3 to 5 years of experience in installation, industrial maintenance,
and troubleshooting of processing systems preferred.
• Associates or technical degree in engineering or related field required. – Prefer higher
level education in engineering, electronics, programming, etc.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and process systems used in the brewing,
food & beverage production industry.
• Experience with various control systems and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers),
especially Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley systems.
• Experience with mechanical process equipment such as pumps, valves, meters and other
components.
• Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, Salesforce, Syteline

Responsible for level loading daily production schedules through analyzing resource capacity and other constraints to optimize throughput, while minimizing manufacturing cycle time, inventory, and achieving on-time delivery goals.

Assist the Master Production Scheduler (MPS) in determining and maintaining forecast and safety stock levels.

Own metrics of manufacturing cycle time (OTTC), throughput, past due order reduction, and on-time delivery.
Participate in and lead business process improvement events such as Continuous Improvement Framework, kaizens, and workshops to improve processes and reduce waste.
Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques that will improve the scheduling function.
Actively participate in process improvement and creation/adhering to standard work.
Establish optimal inventory levels to achieve desired service, while utilizing just-in-time inventory management philosophies.
