We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior CNC Machinist Programmer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
As a Senior CNC Machinist Programmer, you will be responsible for:
1. Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts.
2. Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
3. Working with a variety of materials including Inconel, titanium, monel, Stainless, and Copper.
4. Implementing and monitoring process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
5. Maintaining a high level of quality control, ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards.
6. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and improve machining processes.
7. Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
8. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
9. Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to prevent downtime.
10. Keeping up-to-date with the latest machining technologies and techniques.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with Aerospace Alloy Machining.
3. Proven experience working with materials such as Inconel, titanium, monel, and Aluminum.
4. A strong understanding of CNC programming and operation using Fanuc controls.
5. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
6. A proven track record in process improvement.
7. Ability to hold tight tolerances (±.001” or better).
8. Strong communication and leadership skills.
9. A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
10. A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
