Position Summary
The Senior Automation Controls & Vision Engineer leads the design, integration, and optimization of advanced automation and vision-based inspection systems across our global manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities
- Integrate and optimize machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Teledyne, SICK, Fanuc, KUKA, Dalsa).
- Configure lighting, lensing, positioning, and vibration control to ensure inspection reliability.
- Design and program Allen-Bradley PLC systems (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk).

We are seeking a Product Development Manager - Absorbent Hygiene for our First Quality Retail Services located in Lewistown, PA.
This position is responsible for the product development related to the absorbent hygiene products industry. Preferably in adult incontinence hygiene products.
This person will be responsible for developing and introducing new products and modifies existing products to meet customer needs. Collaborates with Business Unit to identify customer needs and interacts with Operations (Process Engineers, Production Planning, Project Engineers and Quality Assurance) and Marketing to implement new products in a timely manner. The Trade Compliance Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliant and efficient import operations for Kulicke & Soffa. This position focuses heavily on customs clearance, reviewing CBP Form 7501, validating import documentation, and supporting duty classification and regulatory compliance. The role also includes performing Restricted Party Screening (RPS) to prevent unauthorized transactions and ensure alignment with U.S. export control regulations. Assuring a compliant audit trail exists for all Customs entries cleared under Kulicke & Soffa. Assuring that imports and exports of the company are compliant with US Customs and Foreign Local import regulations such as HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification, valuation, country of origin, assists, record keeping, ADD/CVD, special trade programs and other government agency requirements, EAR and ITAR regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure day-to-day tracking and monitoring of all shipments.
- Review Customs Form 7501 for accuracy (HTS, duty rates, declared value, COO, PGA requirements).
- Verify that broker‐submitted entries align with internal compliance standards, coordinate corrections.
- Review supporting documents: commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading, COO certificates
- Work closely with brokers and logistics teams to ensure timely customs clearance.
- Track and apply Section 301/232 tariffs and other custom-related duties.
- Maintain accurate and compliant CBP recordkeeping per 19 CFR §163.
- Interact effectively with multiple functional areas including management, supply chain, distribution, engineering, finance, IT and legal.
- Ensure that proposed customers are screened for Denied Person and Entities, restricted end-uses, and diversion and releases orders as appropriate or refer them to the appropriate personnel for further review and discussion.
- Identify whether other Government agency requirements are applicable to product imports and exports (e.g. DDTC, FCC, FDA, etc.).
- Evaluate all new Government agency requirements to ensure import and export compliance with changes and incorporate into day-to-day operations and standard operating procedures.
- Ascertain that up-to-date profiles and SOPs are provided to all endorsed service providers to ensure proper import and export clearance.
- Communicate with affiliated business units overseas to streamline export and import processes.
- Ensure that a trained back-up is available to assist with compliance functions.
- Perform Restricted Party Screening (RPS) for customers, vendors, and end‐users.
- Document and escalate matches, red flags, or concerns based on internal escalation procedures.
- Support due‐diligence workflows (EUS, CPP, Red Flag questionnaires) as needed.
- Track shipment status, delays, exams, and entry issues.
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen import compliance controls.

Essential Responsibilities Provide day-to-day EHS support for 2 nd Shift activities at the Findlay Site.
Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
Attend daily operational LDM to represent EHS Provide training on EHS practices and protocols.
Investigate incidents and recommend corrective measures.
Conduct audits EHS audits Manage and log EHS items in the GenSuite Application Use judgment and propose different solutions outside of set parameters Utilize internal/external sources to provide resolution to any EHS issue Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (with Major in Health & Safety as a desired asset) or a high school diploma with relevant experience & accredited EHS Safety Training Courses OR Minimum 2 years of experience supporting EHS initiatives.

We are seeking an Associate Product Development Scientist for our First Quality Products site located in Lewistown, PA.
This position is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing new and proprietary designs of absorbent-related product systems based upon business, customer, and consumer needs as well as provide support for the needs of present product systems to assure competitive performance and value.
Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
- Participate as a member of the Product Development team; execute projects in timely, diligent, safe, and professional manner, and contribute to the growth of the team and department.
- Design new products and product improvements to meet business and consumer needs.
- Develop new and improved materials and technologies with suppliers, and ensure all new raw materials obtain proper safety testing and clearance.
- Use basic Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques to develop experimental plans.
- Support the existing business product cost improvements through product redesigns.
- Provide technical support to reduce consumer complaints.
- Support corporate proprietary technology by documenting and patenting novel ideas.
- Develop new test methods to better predict and understand product performance in use.
- Work with more senior scientist or manager to help set project objectives.
- Coach and develop indirect reports to enhance team performance towards department objectives.
Education and experience requirements:
- Able to travel ~20-30% to US and International for product and process trials.
- Four-year technical degree (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering) or equivalent; additional business studies preferred.
- 3+ years in R&D inventing, developing, and implementing new products.
- Knowledge of and experience with developing product systems for the retail market, preferably hygiene products.
- Knowledge of materials used in retail absorbent products (e.g. pulp, super absorbent polymers, nonwovens).
- Working knowledge of consumer product converting technologies for pulp, paper, and nonwoven materials.
- Experience with the process of searching, evaluating, and filing patents.
- Experience providing direction for the physical testing of hypotheses, resulting in specific conclusions and recommendations.
- Able to speak, read and write the English language and have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good analytical skills, with working knowledge of basic statistics.
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office program.
