Summary
Performs engineering tasks for Department of Public Works/Engineering department. Reviews and approves
building and issues engineering permits. Oversees and enforces Town specifications. Reviews credentials and
licenses of new contractors. Updates websites, including posting construction progress, road closures and
schedules, Town policy, and infrastructure issues. Ensures compliance with Massachusetts DEP. Monitors and
tracks private projects. Performs all other related work, as required.
Essential Functions

* Reviews and approves building permits. Reviews, approves, and issues Engineering permits. Oversees and
enforces Town specifications. Maintains Engineering permit portal, including changing, editing, and adding
applications. Reviews credentials and provides licenses to new contractors.
* Updates websites, including posting construction progress, road closures, schedules, Town policy, and
infrastructure issues.
* Ensures compliance with Massachusetts DEP permitting.
* Monitors and tracks private projects. Communicates project updates to customers, via email, website and
social media. Sets up and attends project meetings.
* Provides and coordinates communication to residents and businesses on major capital projects.
* Attends meetings on projects. Administers and provides support materials for projects.
* Communicates with department staff.
* Meets with builders to review requests and concerns.
* Responds to questions and requests for information, including Public Records Requests.
* Researches records and plans for residents, external engineers, and surveyors.
* Conducts research on Middlesex Registry of Deeds, examining the history of property.
* Manages Engineering records.
* Communicates with the Secretary of the Commonwealth on records retention regulations.
* Manages and deposits revenue from permits. Reconciles and submits cash turnover report.
* Participates in personnel decisions, including interviewing job applicants.
* Continues education and career development by participation in association events.
* Reads and interprets Town Bylaws. Writes proposal to change bylaws. Writes and reviews Town policy for
accreditation.
* Provides training on VPC Opengov. software, records retention, and the department's organizational plans.
* Performs other similar or related duties, as required or as situation dictates.
Supervision
Supervision Scope: Performs varied and responsible functions requiring a technical working knowledge of
departmental operations and the exercise of judgment and initiative, particularly in situations not clearly defined
by precedent or established procedures.
Supervision Received: Works under the broad supervision of the Town Engineer, following department rules,
regulations and policies; duties require the ability to plan and perform operations and independently complete
assigned tasks, according to prescribed time schedules.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience
Associates degree or equivalent, plus 5+ years of experience in a municipality or Civil Engineering firm or an
equivalent combination of education, training and experience are required. Computer literacy is required. FE or
PE is preferred. Ability to operate CAD is preferred. Public speaking experience is highly desirable. Bachelor of
Science in Civil Engineering is preferred.
Special Requirements:
Valid Massachusetts Driver's license is required.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Civil Engineering practices. Knowledge and ability to read and generate design
plans. Knowledge of administrative office practices and procedures. Knowledge of project management.

Job Environment
* Work is performed in office environment. Work is performed occasionally in outdoor weather
conditions, in very loud to moderate noise levels, working in high, precarious places, with fumes or
airborne particles present, and working near moving mechanical parts. Work is subject to fluctuations,
and administrative deadlines. Work is conducted in an environment of competing priorities.

General Summary of Position:
Granite is a leading provider of managed security and networking platforms. The NetOps team supports a wide range of technologies and services including Fortinet SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper. Within this team, the Application Automation practice focuses on improving operational efficiency and scalability through scripting, automation, and tool development. This position plays a key role in supporting large enterprise environments by developing automation frameworks, streamlining complex deployments, and reducing manual intervention in day-to-day operations. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to support network deployments, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify repetitive tasks and build automated solutions to reduce manual workload.
- Support new technology rollouts by creating scalable deployment frameworks and configuration templates.

Avantor is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Technician to be responsible for activities relating to the daily production engineering release process for single use products.
This includes: generation of production protocols, process and quality improvement, production flow and standard work development, process definition, and documentation. This person will also ensure the assembly meets the performance criteria required by the customer.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

Minimum Qualifications

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences has three departments, Adult Nursing, Community Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science. Nursing has a total of 34 full-time faculty members and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in two Departments-Adult Nursing and Community Nursing. The undergraduate degree program has approximately 550 baccalaureate students enrolled in the prelicensure traditional and accelerated, and RN to BS tracks. The College also offers graduate nursing programs at the MS, DNP, and PhD level, with approximately 110 students enrolled across the graduate programs. Nursing is committed to building scholarship in the areas of chronic illness, nursing education, and global population health. Nursing has a long-standing teaching and research collaboration with the College of Engineering. As a key member of the Productivity Tools team within BCG's Personal Productivity Organization, you will collaborate with product owners, vendors, and architects and engineering teams to ensure seamless user experiences, effective governance, and ongoing operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering & Administration
- Manage and configure enterprise application services across both legacy and cloud platforms.
- Lead upgrades, rollouts, patching, and migrations for a variety of applications.
- Conduct health checks, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Integrate applications with third-party platforms or in-house solutions.
- Support complex deployments and ensure high availability of services.
- Governance, Documentation & Support
- Define and maintain SOPs, administrative practices, and end-user documentation.
- Develop governance frameworks around licensing, lifecycle, and architecture.
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support and resolve complex technical issues.
- Mentor service desk teams and promote best practices in application usage and management.
- Collaboration & Cross-Team Engagement
- Coordinate with network, security, and support teams for seamless application service delivery.
- Participate in planning, migrations, upgrades, and project execution.
- Liaise directly with Microsoft, Adobe and other vendors for advanced configuration and support scenarios.
Core Focus Areas:
- Deliver robust engineering and operational support for Microsoft 365 apps, add-ins, Adobe Acrobat, MS Forms, and other productivity tools.
- Drive standardization and operational consistency across the firm's application portfolio.
- Provide leadership and guidance within the M365 Application Governance Council.
- Contribute to the strategy and implementation of productivity-enhancing tools firmwide.
What You'll Bring
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-grade applications, with 3–5 years specifically in Microsoft 365 administration and technical product analysis.
- Proven experience in Adobe Creative Cloud deployment and productivity enablement.
- Strong background in enterprise M365 configuration and governance, including automation tools like Power Automate and scripting with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
- Advanced capabilities using GraphAPI, PowerShell, SQL, and Power BI for:
- Scripting and bulk administration
- Automating service management
- Data analysis and backend reporting
- Visualizing application performance metrics
- Background in implementing GenAI capabilities across Microsoft 365 (e.g., Powerpoint, Word, Excel) is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Conditional Access, Defender for Office 365, Intune, and related services.
- Expertise in managing applications in a cross platform environment such as Windows, Mac (OSX), and iOS platforms.
- Experience across application development life cycles, including requirements design, development tracking, change/release management, and operational support.
- Ability to identify and manage integration dependencies across M365 apps and third-party solutions.
- Strong incident management, security compliance, and vulnerability remediation experience.
- Track record in defining KPIs and reporting on performance and service stability.
- Level C2 English proficiency as demonstrated by IELTS 8.5+, TOEFL iBT 110+, TOEIC 945+, CAMBRIDGE CPE, or comparable demonstrated proficiency.
- B.S. CS/MIS or four (4) additional years relevant experience in lieu of degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as MS-100, MS-101, SC-300, AZ-900 are highly desirable.
- Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Prior involvement in enterprise-level security policy enforcement and tooling compliance.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.
- The base salary range for this role in Atlanta is $121,000.00 - $147,700.00
This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.
In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
