Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage relationships by continuously updating and training racking or material handling dealers, distributors, systems integrators, and end-users on our racking products and applications.
- Visit dealers, distributors, and end users in territory in order to strengthen existing relationships, follow up on leads and quotes, and close business.
- Conduct sales presentations, complete sales calls, manage sales order negotiations, and oversee the execution of sales orders
- Partner with internal technical resources to create quotes for customers.
- Partner with customers to develop long term relationships, generate additional sales, and guide problem resolution discussions.
- Develop monthly and weekly sales plans that include prospecting activities and forecasts.
- Ensure completion of customer projects through the coordination of engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service activities.
- Update daily the lead, quote, and order activity in company's CRM software, CIM. Keep CIM updated daily.
The qualified candidate possesses at least the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
- At least one year of experience working in the Material Handling Industry.
- At least one year of experience in Industrial Sales.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Must live within one hour (driving) of San Antonio, TX.
- Must have an excellent driving record and own a car with auto liability coverage limits of $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident in bodily injury liability, and $100,000 per accident in property damage liability.

Qualifications Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, or related field (preferred).

This role manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects and provides deep technical expertise to clients across education, municipal, transportation-adjacent, and commercial sectors.
This is a high-visibility role with meaningful influence on strategy, execution, and long-term market growth.
What You’ll Do Perform geotechnical site investigations, site characterizations, and assign laboratory testing Prepare full engineering reports with practical, actionable recommendations Scope and develop proposals for moderate to complex projects Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, and budget Lead and mentor junior engineering staff Build and maintain internal and external client relationships, including face-to-face interactions Conduct engineering analysis using industry methodologies and standards Engage in community involvement to strengthen regional presence Work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies Collaborate closely with the Austin team to align technical quality and client service What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering (Master’s preferred) Professional Engineer (PE) license required Five or more years of geotechnical engineering and CMT-related project management experience Experience with Texas PK–12, municipal, or commercial development Strong ability to work independently and operate as a self-starter Proven experience preparing proposals, scopes, and technical reports Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and client-facing skills Ability to lift 50–75 pounds periodically and travel up to 25% Willingness to relocate to San Antonio (relocation support available) Interested in hearing more?
