Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct supervision of the executive leadership team.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field required.
Graduate degree in business, management, or relevant field strongly preferred.
Minimum 4 years of executive or senior management experience with complex organizations, government contractors, Alaska Native Corporations, or similarly structured enterprises.
Experience working with city/borough governments, tribal entities, and regional Alaska Native organizations highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, federal contracting, and regulatory compliance preferred.
Experience working with Iñupiaq-speaking communities and the ability to understand and speak the Iñupiaq language is desirable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Graphics Coordinator
LOCATION: Columbus, WI
SUMMARY: The Graphics Coordinator at American Packaging Corporation (APC) plays a crucial role in managing and executing customer graphics projects from inception through to final production approval. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a strong understanding of pre-press and printing processes. The Graphics Coordinator collaborates closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of artwork and graphics-related tasks.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Graphics Manager/Graphics Supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Participate in training, embrace concepts of and actively practice the SPOT Safety Program fundamentals to aid American Packaging Corporation's efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate. Adhere to all company safety guidelines.
- Establish execution strategies for customer graphics projects, including new product launches, line extensions, redesigns, trials, and cost-savings projects. Follow APC procedures, objectives, timing, and financial commitments in specified systems.
- Attend pre-production meetings with customers and suppliers as needed and schedule internal pre-pro meetings as defined by APC procedures.
- Review and approve artwork for accuracy and compliance with COE, industry, print, and government regulations. Make recommendations for improvement and document/resolve specification deviations.
- Coordinate proof approval processes with customers, separators, print tool suppliers, and internal manufacturing teams through effective written and verbal communication.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Customer Service, Production Control, Technical, separators, plate vendors, and ink vendors.
- Complete print order specifications, purchase orders, cost estimates, and invoices related to artwork development projects.
- Manage customer press approvals, ensuring compliance with APC requirements and assisting with color adjustments to gain final customer approval.
- Understand & be capable of initiating fingerprint trials with our key suppliers & then interpreting the results.
- Take proactive steps to solve problems and undertake new projects as they arise, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
- Assemble, distribute, and maintain customer approved color standards, providing samples to internal and external customers as required.
- Stay informed about new pre-press graphics technology advancements.
- Attend and participate in all company mandated meetings.

LOCATION: Rochester, NY
SUMMARY: A program designed to train a skilled worker through a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction to become a Maintenance Technician at American Packaging Corporation. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for electrical and mechanical systems in the facility, which will include troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities. Throughout this program, they will learn to troubleshoot and repair equipment problems that affect productivity of the manufacturing group as well as plant facilities and subsystems. They will learn to be involved with the process improvements providing input in production problem solving.
Approval Process: Applicants will be interviewed and chosen based on their experience, knowledge, and overall work history. The chosen finalists will be required to take and pass an aptitude test.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Duration: 3-4 years for completion
Classroom Training: Several courses required through local school, such as Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical and Machining courses.
Hours of Work: As needed for class schedule, must be flexible.
On the Job Training:
A. Tool and Supply Room (~200 hrs)
Learn size of wire conduit and bending of conduit, use of tools and how to determine the size of load safety.
B. Lighting (~200 hrs)
Replacement of incandescent lamps and hot cathode fluorescent tubes and starters. Repair of fluorescent fixtures, replacing ballast, socket and wiring, code requirements. Repair of LED fixtures, replacing drivers and troubleshooting.
C. Trouble Shooting AC Wiring (~300 hrs)
Learn to locate and repair contactor problems, replacing contacts and contactor. Locate and replace blown fuses. Check and repair limit switches, push buttons, etc.
D. Special Circuits AC (~500 hrs)
Learn to read wiring diagrams. Operation of special control circuits, time delay switches, electrical braking.
E. Direct Current Machinery (~500 hrs)
Learn to locate and repair direct current motor troubles in fields, armatures, bearings, brush holders, and commutators. Knowledge of variable speed DC drives. Repair and maintenance of DC contactors and field control.
F. General Wiring (~500 hrs)
Learn proper handling and installation of power feeding, wiring, fuse panels, breakers, etc. Estimate load requirements. Code requirements. Install general wiring.
G. Instruments (~100 hrs)
Learn proper use and care of voltmeter, ammeter, watt meter, oscilloscope and megger, etc.
H. Computerized Controls (~600 hrs)
Programmable logic controllers: reading diagrams and schematics; maintaining and troubleshooting.
I. Care, Use and Safety of Tools and Equipment (~500 hrs)
Hand tools, power tools, machines and power equipment, ladders, scaffolding and hoists.
J. Machine Repair (Mechanical) (~1500 hrs)
Assembly and disassembly, bearings, power transmission, construction, rigging, lubrication. Safety.
K. Bench Work and Machinery (~300 hrs)
Lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, drill press, power saw, etc. Safety.
L. Pipefitting (~300 hrs)
Layout, installation, repair, replacement, pumps and compressors, valves and controls. Safety.
M. Welding (~500 hrs)
Protective clothing and equipment, burning and cutting, controls and gauges, electric arc welding, properties of metals. Safety.

As a Production Supervisor (2nd shift) you will:
Job Description:
- Directs the activities of employees engaged in manufacturing activities including but not limited to training and supervising, maintaining a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and established policies and procedures.
- Assign necessary manpower to support schedule demand on daily basis.
- Oversee product quality data collection, machine utilization and efficiency data tracking.
- Work with other production supervisors to resolve daily production issues such as material, delivery, quality, and employee performance.
- Meets production schedule and meets customer's expectations.
- Meets company's and customer's quality and workmanship standards.
- Supervises production line set-up including but not limited to testing and adjusting line equipment prior to operation and ensuring production line starts on schedule.
- Supervises all production activities performed by employees; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees throughout the shift.
- Monitors and reports daily production results, material usage, waste, and downtime.
- Reports equipment problems to appropriate department and operations manager.
- Coordinates with quality control to maintain quality standards; takes appropriate corrective measures to resolve deficiencies.
- Forecasts staffing needs to meet peak demands of the business and staff team accordingly; trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines employees being supervised; resolves personnel issues.
- Manages personnel issues including but not limited to vacation approvals, timecard approval, daily and weekly overtime, hiring, and training.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent (three additional years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered).
- At least six years of work experience in PCBA manufacturing or PCBA contract electronics manufacturing industry.
- Must have experience in System Integration/Box Build

- Strong leadership and hands-on production work experience.

Divisional Plant Engineer Job Duties & Primary Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to multiple plant locations driving improvements in reliability, process control, and other pertinent KPI’s.
- Create necessary CAD drawings for equipment layout, process control, fabrication and assembly of components.
- Familiar with pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and boiler systems and controls.
- Must have exceptional operational knowledge of process equipment and the ability to make logical decisions concerning the operation, maintenance and modification of process equipment with minimal supervision.
- Experience with project management and implementation from the initial planning stages to completion on time and within budget.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines for capital and expense projects with input from stakeholders.
- Prepare project justifications and formal authorization requests for capital projects generally over $100,000.
- Commission new production equipment, controls, and processes, and monitor modifications and upgrades.
- Familiar with control loops and control strategies to support troubleshooting and optimization of existing controls and processes.
- Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in optimization of processes and products involving modifications to facilities, equipment, methods and materials.
- Where appropriate, select and supervise external contractors and consultants to ensure they meet the requirements for function, cost, timing, and quality.
- Works with process, quality, production, and manufacturing personnel to develop and implement process changes necessitated by new technology or improvements to current technologies.
- Make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collect and interpret data from other technical and operating staff involved to develop and implement process improvement.
- Works with maintenance departments to develop proactive maintenance procedures and programs for the facilities and process equipment.
- Travel 25% to the other two locations (Sylacauga, Alabama & Franklin, Ohio). Expected travel requirement is minimum of 30%, potentially higher during project implementations.
Divisional Plant Engineer Additional Required Skills & Qualifications: (include computer, language, mathematical, and analytical skills required)
- Advanced analytical skills and creativity in solving problems and troubleshooting.

Purpose Statement
Under general supervision, performs a variety of complex technical and administrative duties relating to the support of the Plant Manager and the Steering Team.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
- Acts as receptionist greeting all visitors courteously, determining their needs while contacting the appropriate Rich’s Team Member.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Plant Manager/ Human Resources Department; compose and type letters, memoranda, newsletters and other correspondence related to assigned human resources programs and activities; prepare a variety of reports including technical reports and status reports pertaining to operations, human resource management programs and activities.
- Ensures office runs smoothly by keeping supplies in stock, designing filing systems, filing paperwork, working with vendors, planning events, maintaining calendar of events, processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, and making sure the office area is organized, clean and customer ready.
- Coordinates meeting resources such as assigning/scheduling meetings, ordering lunches, scheduling meeting rooms, organizing A/V requirements and gathering materials.
- Key contact person for vendors of Associate uniforms, vending or other supplies.
- Assists Steering Team with various tasks and will be cross trained in these functions as necessary.
- Provides support throughout the recruitment, new hire and termination process. - Monitors completion of compliance onboarding paperwork. Provides support throughout the termination process ensuring that the termination checklist is completed by managers.

Process, verifies and maintains personnel action forms, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications and employee leaves of absence.
- Explains general terms and conditions of employment to associates and department representatives; conduct initial new employee orientation for purposes of ensuring appropriate completion of compliance training and delivering the customer experience.
- Leads Activity Team by coordinating and leading events from start to finish while keeping our associates engaged through those activities by scheduling and leading meetings with associates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Must have a high school diploma, associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is expected. Individual must be a fast learner and able to assimilate new software, procedures and techniques as they are constantly introduced into this environment.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
